I've been on BP meds for more than 30 years. Untreated my BP runs in the range of 140/100. 50mg of Atenolol (a prescription med) knocks that down to the 120/80 range.I was skeptical that this could get me off the Atenolol. But I decided to give it a try.I stopped taking my Atenolol on the same day I started taking two of these (one at night, one in the morning). Monitoring my BP carefully as I do, I immediately saw a rise. Not alarmingly higher, just elevated. But I stuck with it, and within a week it came down to the same range as the Atenolol was providing.It's been a month now, and my BP is actually running lower than it was on the medication. I routinely see numbers in the range of 110/70. Resting heart rate is also lower, running in the low 70's.I'm a believer! I would MUCH rather take a supplement, sourced from a natural food, than a prescription medication born of lab chemists.Not saying it works for everyone, few things do. But it works for me.I hardly ever write reviews, unless I'm either very happy or very unhappy with a product. I'm happy with this one.

Beet root is great for many things, but I use them primarily for men's health. I'll be "cryptic" but those who know will understand: I take two in the morning and two at night before bed. In less than a week, things started to really "pick up" for me...more than I expected. I was surprised at how well my body responded to this one change. I think if you use these supplements you will be pleased with the results. I will definitely be reordering them.

This beet powder smells like fresh beets when you open the jar, but after that it starts to go downhill. There is no measuring spoon included and the directions call for 10 grams of powder to 6-8 ounces of cold water. Not having a grams spoon, I looked up the conversion of grams to tablespoons and its .8 tbsp to 10 grams. I added a little less than a tablespoon to my water and blended it in my shaker bottle. I did this for about 20 seconds and then drank it. It was grainy and chalky, but underneath that was a hint of good flavor. If it provides the health benefits of beet powder I'll be happy enough. Just wish it came with a measuring spoon and dissolved better.
