Great option in the affordable range
My initial delivery ended with a badly damaged downrigger ball, including a bent top eye, loose reflective stickers and torn coating. I recommend ordering this item alone as if it's too big a box it will bounce around a ton. Amazon remedied the problem immediately and the second delivery was perfect. The downrigger ball is as expected from the description and price point. The coating is a little thinner than a Cannon equivalent, then again this was 1/3 the cost. This will serve its purpose just fine and I'm grateful I found an option I could afford. I'm looking forward to trolling upwards of 125 ft with this model and experiencing less blow back than the previous weight I donated to the depths of Lake Powell (didn't know "No Wake" Buoys were connected horizontally).

One unit arrived damaged from shipping (the connection ring), and the supplier took care of me immediately with a replacement, very appreciated. Nice coating to prevent direct contact with lead. Perfect size to work with, and functioned well on my downrigger. Easy to tie on to the rig and attach to.

Showed up broken but..
The eye loop on top was broken off so I can't even use it. But the manufacturer was super easy to work with and sent a replacement immediately. The others I received were good quality.

These are bigger in size to a comparable lead 12lb of the same weight. The price is great about $25-$30 cheaper than a lead ball. These track well nice size loops.

I downright at about 90 to 110 feet on Georgian Bay Muskie, Salmon ,etc I go after the lunker's and this ball with fin is well priced and brings it down .I would buy again!
