Renogy Solar Panels 50 Watt, 25% High-Efficiency N-Type Solar Panel

This is a great quality solar panel. I have had a few other small trickle panels and a cheap flexible plastic one (total waste of money) and I am really impressed with the power and quality of this panel. It is really too strong for a trickle panel, but i find I can put it in the shade and it works fine with less power and it will totally charge up a "dead" car battery in no time (paired with a cheap charge controller, made mobile safe by hot glue gunning wiring points). I bought a panel this strong because I got a great sale price on it. Very worth it. Small enough to be portable and easily moveable and will fit on my dash even and large enough to really kick ass, charge up a lead acid battery and all my 5 volt usb lights and devices. Great for camping. My only problem with this panel on the onset was that it came with Renology MC4 connectors attached and I had trouble deciding whether to buy more of those or rip off the MC4 connector and just convert to 12 volt automotive water proof connector I already had on hand. For my uses, I was better off without the MC4 (a waterproof rating not size rating) I decided, and I finally pried them off and converted to the 12 volt auto connector, but the psychological block really impacted my project.

Bought two to run in parallel for my office in-window setup and it's been educational and fun. My laptop has exclusively been solar powered for about a year now thanks to these babies. They are well made and sturdy and have survived in all weather conditions, but more importantly they've taught me what to expect from my upcoming more ambitious projects.

Have been using Renogy solar panels on our field products for years. Prefer them over other brands. Especially at a near 50% discount when on sale through Amazon.

Nice solar panel, with good connectors and a sturdy frame. Power output meets specs. A perfect panel to power our gate opener.

Powers a 80 watt exhaust fan

My very first solar panel ever. The reason I purchased this was because Renogy makes an aluminum frame that mounts to a pole. Having a well pipe fence on in the rural, its what I needed so I decided to use their panels as well. At noon, connected to the Victron mppt and the panel is running great. Currently it is dumping to the battery bringing it up to full charge. There is no load yet on the controller but a wyze cam is drawing directly off the battery. Very few watts to run it. I will purchase Renogy again

Great PV panel, perfect for keeping my 55Ah backup battery topped off. Charges from 50% to full in about 3hrs.

My gate battery only had a 20W panel and that wasn't enough for the winter months. This 50W panel addition solved my problem!

Funciona muy bien

Sometimes brand sucks

All Renogy products are top notch Used as bsttery charger works well

Producto de muy buena calidad, lo recomiendo ampliamente, no se dejen sorprender con otros productos económicos, se van a decepcionar.

I think this should work pretty awsome . I made a stand for it using my satellite tripod that way i can easily turn ot towards the sun while im camping. I tested the leads and when facing the sun it put out 20 volts so this should work fine with keeping my trailer batteries charged. And I'm getting a control panel so i can monitor my batteries. This works awesome and i love it . Keeps 2 batterys charged up .
