This is not a complete intervention program but I like this whole series for students who need a bit of extra help with reading or listening comprehension. You can target Summarizing, Main Idea, or Inferencing or Story Elements. I have the 1-2, 3-4, and 5-6 age ranges so that I can adjust to my students needs. Review: This resource is worse than a "basic" main idea - This resource is worse than a "basic" main idea. When purchasing this item I thought I was getting activities that focus on main idea, but they are at best relevant for K. I would never label this activity book acceptable for 2nd grade, even my below grade level of special education kids. At it's simplicity it's busy work. I found 3 activities in the entire book that I could use. A waste of a purchase. I'll stick to teacherspayteachers.com where teachers post better materials for a better price than what I just paid for this product. Very disappointed.

This resource is worse than a "basic" main idea. When purchasing this item I thought I was getting activities that focus on main idea, but they are at best relevant for K.
