One of them came broken in two pieces. However, the grilling plate holds the blocks so snugly that I can't even see the break line in the one block. The handles allow ease in transferring the blocks from counter to refrigerator to grill. I had seen one in a local kitchen boutique for a much higher price. This is exactly the same as the one I had seen. So, it's just what I expected and wanted.
