I started reading my devotional around Easter, and I have not been disappointed after 40 days of devoted study. I like the book so much that I also purchased Grace for the Moment Volume 2. While 99% of my Christian books are on Kindle format, I still enjoy printed books such as this one. What makes this unique is the softness of the glossy pages, the layout of the verses and commentary, and the lightly printed graphics on each page. The colors are relaxing and gentle...perfect for a devotional morning or night. The title for thius book fits it perfectly. Grace for the Moment. This book is a wonderful daily affirmation book. It's easy to read and includes Bible verses to look up to go with the affirmations. Love this book.
Great price, too. My co-worker shared his with me by leaving it in our shared office. The same day, I bought one for myself and one for my husband to keep in his office. Not long after, I gave mine away so I need to buy another soon. It’s small and unassuming so it was well received when I offered it up to my bro in law. Great daily morning read. Sets the tone for my day and am always blessed by what I read. It’s my daily reminder to practice righteousness. Buy two—one for you and one to give away on a whim. Later that evening, my bro in law called me and said it was exactly what he needed to read. God is awesome!

LOVE this little book!
Max Lucado has an outlook on Christian life that is calming, encouraging, full of life and GRACE! Short and sweet daily reading. A great way to start my day (or end it).

His writing speaks directly to the heart.
I don't know how I stumbled upon this book, but it has helped me get through the loss of family members and friends. He helps me to understand many of the Bible passages, as well as seeing a different point of view. I've bought some of his other books, and find his thoughts to be life changing for me.

Thoughtful and mindful
I have been reading this same book for years, starting over every January. I love his books because they make sense to me. Every morning I start with Love, patience, kindness, goodness, joy, gentleness, to these I commit my day if I succeed I will give thanks if I fail I will ask God for forgiveness and try again tomorrow.

Grace for the Moment volume 1
This is a book for a Christian, or for someone who is looking for something in their lives that is sadly missing. Someone who asks "Why was I ever born? Why was I put on this earth? What is my purpose in life?" Of course the Bible will tell you these answers, but this is an additional inspirational thought for each day of the year.
