Works great and as advertised
I had one for many years and dropped it. It had fallen several times by accident and never broke. I guess it was time. It is really good to see up close and and the mirror is very clear. I was so happy that I can still purchase one.

Get this mirror!
Been looking for a mirror that I would not need to be mounted on the wall. This is it! The suction is heavy duty (left the mirror overnight on my vanity mirror and it did not slide an inch, and it stays on my vanity counter where I suction it to the counter and it stays put). Great angling ability so that I can adjust it as needed. The battery gives power to the light and that is great to have to really see up close. I'm glad I have this mirror.

Seems like such a smart idea/product in theory, but in reality..not so much.
I bought this mirror as an alternative to a standing mirror. I live in a compact city apartment and my bathroom has literally no counter space. In theory, this is a great alternative to a standing mirror. IN THEORY. In practice, it was quite the opposite. Problem 1: The suction was awful. I couldn't get the suction cup to stay in place, no matter how I tried (cleaned surface, extra wet, not so wet, completely dry...you name it). Finally, I did manage to get the cup to stick on the mirror. Problem 2: The weight of the mirror is so heavy, it actually won't stand upright properly, while suctioned to the mirror. I tried bending the metal "flexible stand" (which isn't so flexible) in every direction to keep the mirror upright. If you are planning to suction this mirror and have it flexed out towards you, that won't work. It's simply too heavy. The only way I could position the mirror so it wouldn't flip or slide down was to wedge it up and against a wall. It's hard to explain but was definitely jerry-rigged. Problem 3: The construction is not very sturdy. I quickly noticed that the button and the mirror housing was made of flimsy cheap plastic. So cheap that the mirror would wiggle around inside the casing. But, I thought to myself, I want this to work. I'll make this work, especially since I finally had the suction cup stuck and the mirror wedged into a position that sort of worked for me. I figured it will be ok and then... Problem 4: One night I arose to such a clatter, I sprang from my bed to see what was the matter...well, it wasn't Santa Claus - it was my mirror. Yes, the suction failed and my mirror fell into the sink and smashed. Ironically, the fall did not break the mirror, only the entire casing, connection bracket, and the suction cup. Since I had already thrown out the packaging and it's been more than 30 days, I'm out of luck. I would not recommend this product. If you're looking for a flexible and high magnification mirror - keep searching. This isn't the one. I wanted this to work because it seemed perfect. But, alas, it was just a waste of money, time, and effort.

Loved it until it fell off the mirror and broke.
This is a great mirror! I had it for less than a year and unfortunately it feel off my mirror and broke sometime in the night. I liked it so much I ordered another one but it came as 5X not the 10X i ordered. I had to return it. Not sure what is up with that.

Takes forever to arrive and the suction dial needs a dose of WD40 to turn
Well the mirror is probably going to work fine… now. First of all, when I ordered Amazon said it would be delivered in 2 days. Then they said I needed to contact the shipper. It took it 11 days and FedEx said it was due to the Trump tariffs. It was coming from Florida! As far as I know there is no tariff between Florida and Washington state! (Although give Trump time 🙄) It arrived today and for the love of me neither I nor my husband could turn the suction little dial to make adhere to the mirror. I finally gave it a good dose of WD40 (followed by a clean up with Windex) and I could turn the suction dial. So it’s up and staying so far. The bendable arm is kinda weird too but I think I’ve got it where I want it. So I guess I’m saying that if you’re like me and this is the only 5x mirror you can find, go for it but just be warned!

Awesome mirror!
I got this mirror because I always had a hard time putting my makeup on cause I couldn't see up close, now I don't have a problem cause this mirror lights up and magnifies the image so now my makeup is flawless! Love the flexible neck of the mirror so you can adjust it any way you want and it stays put once you suction it onto the mirror, awesome product, wish I had it years ago!

Updated review, fail - Very handy for eyelash plucking
Updated Review: Last month the suction cup gave way and the mirror dropped to the vanity. Only the light switch was affected and no longer worked properly. I was still able to light the mirror by pressing the button hard enough. But today while trying to lock the suction the suction cup broke loose from the base. It looks like it's designed to eventually break. (see photo). I see that many other folks reported the same thing. I still gave it an updated 2-stars because I like the illumination and magnification and hope my epoxy fix works. It doesn't cost a lot, but it is also made cheaply. Original Review: I have eyelashes that grow under my eyelids that need plucking every now and then. I normally use a traditional lighted mirror in the bathroom, but get very tired and sore in my back leaning over the sink using it. While we bought this mirror for vacations/cruises, I tried it out at my desk so I could sit down and do some pluckin'. It attached to the formica desk nicely and with its bright light and reasonable magnification I was able to sit comfortably and do what needed to be done. I discovered when turning it off that it has 3 levels of brightness too.

Great for travel!
At home I have a mirror attached to the wall. Its always frustrating when using a travel mirror and not being able to get close to it with both hands free. This one is great. I can attach it to a hotel mirror at eye height or in the camper. Easy to attach. Easy to remove and folds flat to fit in my suitcase. I am very pleased with it.
