Z-OFFROAD LED Fog Lights Compatible with 2002-2008 Dodge Ram 1500

Okay I originally wrote a review for this and now it is not showing up. I've now had the lights installed for a week or 2 so I have some new insight and since I can't see my old review I'm going to assume I didn't post it and start fresh. I've now had these lights for 1-2 weeks and have decided the 1 thing I wasn't totally in love with is actually a good thing. 1. The lights install incredibly easy, 3 pretty easy to access bolts and 1 wire. I do have the chrome bumper so your mileage may vary if you have the sport - but on my Laramie were talking a 10-20 minute job for both sides. I installed these after they sat in my truck all night on 10-20 degree weather so I was a big nervous about the blastic being brittle but no issues whatsoever 2. The lights do not bounce around when I'm driving (as most of you know the oem design isn't ideal and I had pulled mine and drilled thne to place a rubber bushing prior to buying these) and they were aimed basically perfectly right out of the box. I will say here that the spring and that piece of plastic is not as robust looking as oem however given the price of these sorts of things when you look oem this was on par with my expectations. 3. The lights have a nice cutoff - this was actually my only complaint initially because I had already installed led bulbs into my oem housings and I didn't feel these were quite as bright when I was looking at them against the wall - this is where I was wrong - when actually driving the truck hitting the fogs gives me the same illuminated distance as before only they're brighter at that distance (you can see how the light is focused similar to a projector beam in my photo) AND they do not blind others. I've been flashed in the past and always assumed it was my headlights when a shorter car was coming at me however I have not been flashed once since installing these - I believe my fog lights were throwing such a wide spread with the LED beam thay they were the culprit. Huge points for this product here. 4. The actual mounting assembly is very close to the OEM and even included a hole for the wiring loom to connect back up to. Check out my picture to see what I'm referring to, but the housings are very similar in shape and size of the plastic itself. 5. Getting back to my HID headlights - these are a nice bright white and match very well to my HID projectors. The lens is a nice the interior assembly looks great and the output is awesome. Additionally the lens cover does say DOT on it - not sure if they're actually certified as we don't nt have inspections around here - but I would think the way it is labeled on there would be enough to slide you through if so. One thing to note is that the black housing is a matte or semi-gloss finish. I originally had chrome projectors on my truck and pulled the cover and removed the chrome with oven cleaner leaving me a nice gloss black finish. Fortunately with the lens cover on the fogs they match up pretty well and puts me much closer to dechroming the front end of my Ram.

So far so good. Like others said the top bolt hole does not even come close to lining up, so I had to install with only two bolts. But they are much sturdier than the OEM dog lamps. I haven't adjusted them yet, but they fit well and look good.

Color is amazing. Fits perfect. The mounting was very easy. The beam pattern was excellent. Very durable.

Exactly as described

I never write reviews but I’m super stoked on these. Been contemplating the upgrade for years and finally did it! Have had other Les bulbs at sometimes half the cost go out on me. Easy install but took some persuasion, and only two of the three bolts were able to fit. Loosened the bottom bolt from bumper to foglight bracket and made everything fit together easier before tightening it back up. The light output is night and day difference. It doesn’t look like much when you see it but I can actually notice my fog lights are on now where before I could never tell. We’ll see how these hold up but right now they are doing the job and look so much better than the old scratched stock housings. Buy them!

These were easy to put in. The hardest part was taking the old ones out. They’re much brighter than the yellowed ones my husband had in there. Definitely recommend!

Bright! Easy install. Time will tell for longevity.

They took no time at all to fit and took the place of the orginals with out any modification. They are super bright and have a wide beam.
