Sarson's Malt Vinegar 12x250 ml

In my opinion, this is the best malt vinegar (and I have tried all brands available in my area, none compare to this). I could literally drink this. I only can stomach certain fries, like the thicker cuts, if I have some malt vinegar, especially Sarsons...of course you can use it on fish too...really anything fried that the average American would reach for katsup, I would recommend trying with this malt vinegar, it is very versatile. It seems to neutralize some of the grease in fried foods. I realize that preference for malt vinegar is probably an acquired taste, and perhaps I love it because that's what we used when I was very young. Or perhaps everyone's consuming vinegar and blissfully unaware...read the labels for the typical condiments like katsup, mustard, BBQ sauce, cocktail sauce, tartar sauce, hot sauce -- most of them have a lot of vinegar!I think Sarsons is the best quality malt vinegar. Very fresh with a distinctive, rich flavor. For an imported product, it's a good price, and a little goes a long way.I am only ordering it from Amazon because it's that good, and I have trouble sourcing it locally (but when I do get lucky enough to find it in a store, I buy all on the shelf to stock up). Sadly, my bottle arrived bubblewrapped but with broken lid and leaking product.Be aware Amazon won't allow return on this product. Thankfully customer service resolved the issue and I will reorder a replacement soon.

Excellent flavor

Having missed this vinegar for years I am happy to find it in the USA. It tastes just as I remember it. Good strong flavor.

Before I even opened the cardboard box I knew what was in it. It smelled great.Both jars were painstakingly wrapped in bubble wrap, then in clear plastic shrink wrap. When I cut off this packaging, I observed that the labels had been marinating in malt vinegar for very long time. They were completely turned into a malt-darkened paper maché. The dispenser tops were designed assuming that the bottles would leave the factory upright and would never be inverted until a person intentionlly did so to dispense vinegar on some fried food. This assumption proved materially false for long enough for material loss to occur in transit.I compared the flavor to Heinz Gourmet Malt Vinegar and found that Sarsons has a sharper tang and fruitier smell redolent of apple cider vinegar. Heinz Gourmet has a darker, richer, rounder, maltier sensibility.

Deeper taste than American ones. We were impressed. Still Vinegar but not the nose hair burning type of smell

Cap leaked…didn’t have an inner seal…Bottle was wrapped very well with bubble wrap.Vinegar didn’t leak out in the box. I think the cap was defective.

I didn't intend for this to be an emotional review, yet I can't help but express how this delightful product exceeded my expectations. My gratitude is immense, and without a doubt, I would make this purchase again!

Très bon vinaigre utilisé en particulier pour les Fish & chips. Le goût est beaucoup plus délicat que le vinaigre blanc et cela est nécessaire pour couper le gras de ce met. À essayer absolument !

Amazing product best out there

Produit reçu en temps et en heure. Correspond parfaitement à ce que je recherchais. Très difficile voir impossible à trouver en magasin, donc se le faire livrer à la maison, c'est juste parfait.
