Danncy Vanilla Clear 33.8 fl oz (1 L) – Authentic Mexican Vanilla Flavor for Baking and Desserts

I can't tell you how long I have looked for this vanilla!!!! I found it long ago in Mexico and then I couldn't find it again :( I have asked everyone I could to help me find it but no one could. I was so disappointed with the tiny bottles of clear vanilla that just weren't as good and cost so much more!!!! I don't know why I thought to look for it here in Amazon but I am glad I did!!!! Why is this vanilla so great you ask? Well the price is nice, the flavor is GREAT but the fact that it is clear is wonderful because it doesn't darken what you are baking so you have white sugar cookies :) or whatever you are baking :) I just love it and plan on giving a bottle as gifts to friends that bake :) or want to bake :) or love the smell of real vanilla :) If you love vanilla buy this it is the very best :)

I have been hooked on using Mexican vanilla, in my cooking, for a number of years now. My mom used to pick it up for me, in Mexico, when they wintered in Arizona. When my parents stopped going south, for the winter, I had to find another outlet for my vanilla supply. Thank goodness for Amazon, now I never have to worry about running out of vanilla. I use the clear for flavoring my buttercream frosting and my cream pie fillings.

Texas native. We used to buy this vanilla across the border. Was the only vanilla the family will use. I am certain that this is the ingredient that makes my homemade fudge & chocolate chip cookies so much better than the rest. It is certainly pricey. But it is well worth it. Frankly I wonder if I could buy this at one of the new Mexican Mercados that we have now here in Nashville. But oh well. Not worth the drive for one item. Very happy to find this on Amazon.

Live that it's pure vanilla. The bottle is very thin plastic, so you can't hold it too tight. Great value.

This is the best vanilla! I’m a baker and it’s the only vanilla I use. I like the fact that it is clear . When you open the bottle, you can smell the vanilla flavor instantly!

I was excited to find "Pure Vanilla" at such a low price. After living in the Dominican Republic I feel in love with the real thing and have really missed not having it. After getting my 33oz bottle in the mail...my excitement died as I read the ingredient list. The ingredients are: vanilla bean extract in water and natural flavors. Okay it's actually reads: "vanilla bean extractives in water and natural flawors" but I assume they meant 'extract' and 'flavors'. So really what is this product?? A little vanilla bean extract in water?? With "natural flavors."?? The water is a little frustrating to me...do they add water to all vanilla?? Maybe I need to research that more. The real deal killer for me is the natural flavors....that can mean just about any natural chemical they mix up in a lab....not what I was looking for in a product labeled "pure."

I am happy with the strength of the product. I can tell by the aroma of the vanilla.

This vanilla is very strong I'm smell and flavor. Be careful not to use too much. It will ruin your desserts. You can't use this like the brown vanilla. Just too pungent.

Does taste nice, like a mr whippy icecream. I left negative review as I read date wrong on bottle. I thought it had 2 month shelf life but it’s 1 yr 2 months. Do I now give 5stars

Finally opened this bottle of vanilla I bought a few months ago. Never paid much attention to it until I noticed what I was baking had a different flavour. When I needed vanilla again yesterday, I checked it. It doesn’t have any vanilla smell and tasted like bitter water. I hav3 no idea what was in the bottle and being too late to return it, so I dumped it down the sink.

Its exactly as advertised & u use less than reg vanilla
