New In Box Gain Matched Pair JJ Electronics Tesla 12AX7 ECC83-S Vacuum Tubes

I've used JJ tubes for years now and find them to be reliable, quiet and relatively long lasting. If you know these tubes and they go well with your equipment, this is a great source for fast shipment. Recommended.

I had purchased my microphone preamp as a demo unit from a popular music store in Indiana and really had no idea how long this was on the floor nor how many hours were on the tube. I wanted to upgrade my ART Voice Channel microphone preamp’s Chinese tube without breaking the bank and it was worth it! These were one of the recommended brands that the dealer listed. Definitely a more refined and smoother sound. I’ll keep the second tube as a backup for the future.

These tubes are great - no noise - great balanced sound across the spectrum. You can even reelin your eq if you use one- no need to spend more on any other brands.

Great tubes. Ibought them trying to address and issue with my amp. Unfortunately the issue was not the Tubes.

These same JJ's came pre-installed in my new Ampeg PF-20T bass amplifier. They have a good performance record and are considerably less expensive than other brands. I always keep a spare tube set for all my tube gear. The matched gain aspect is not essential since these tubes are cascaded, not parallel, in the PF-20T. But it doesn't hurt, and indicates that the tubes were at least fired up and deemed functional before sale.

Fixed the problem with my Vox VT40X guitar Amp.

Im using the JJ's in my Pro-Ject Tube Box s. This is a Phono Pre...FYI. The Tubes instantly woke up my Vinyl Playback. Highs were more distinct with separation. I do hear an increase in low and mid range. I have Gold Lions in my Black Ice Audio Tube amp in my other setup. Im actually leaning towards trying the JJ's. in that setup as well. This is a fun sounding tube that gave my system a nice boost in performance. Id Buy again. Especially at that price.
