This is a great option for plugging in my Hotlogic while I am traveling, whether in my car or on my Harley.

I bought this so I could use it on my motorcycle to run my CB radio. I was able to plug it into where I would normally plug in my Battery Tender and then use the cigarette lighter to plug in my CB radio. It works well although the plug from my CB fits a little looser than I would have liked, which causes it to lose the connection sometimes because it pulls out just slightly enough to interrupt the connection. I figure I can fix that by taping it once I plug it in and that should do the trick. Otherwise the whole idea of it is great and I can use it for what I intended. I have a friend who bought one (which is how I knew about it) and he uses it to plug in an oxygen type machine that he uses when he rides. He said the same thing about the plug being a little loose for his machine so he tapes it. It works.

Perfect item for my needs! Wanted an adapter to hook into my Battery Tender cable I have on my motorcycle already - this was exactly what I needed. Because it was made by Battery Tender, it hooked right up to my existing cable, so now I can use my GPS unit while riding. I was also pleasantly surprised at the length of the cord - almost 5 feet - so hooking it up and running it down through the bike was no problem. This is a quality made item, very sturdy... nothing chintzy about it. I also really like that it has a cover over the plug hole so if you mount it with the hole side up, it won't get rained in (a bonus on motorcycle rides when it rains). Very happy with this item.

Use to plug a portable 12 Volt refrigerator/freezer that fits in bed of truck and plug into hitch wiring.

The 6ft seems to be just about the right length to reach from motorcycle battery to handlebar without excessive amount of coiling/slack. Attach to handlebar or fork tube with Velcro band or zip tie. Very flexible in terms of pick any location and cord orientation on the handlebar or fork tube, or stash away if not needed. Easy to plug in battery trickle charger. Downside: wiring is not very thick, so may not be suitable for jump starting a drained battery via cigarette adapter. ** UPDATE: plug pops out too easily because same inner diameter all over. Would be great if plugs wouldnt pop out so effortlessly. An extra bump on the rim would add more pull out resistance. My discovery was that solder sticks really easily to the inside metal, so I added a bead of solder on the inside of the rim to add threshold against plug plopping. The black plastic insulation appears to be heat resistant and does not melt easily. Oldfashion solder that contains Lead (Pb) probably is easiest to work with. I you try soldering .. dont go overboard with the solder, as the bump will easily be too big and prevents insertion of plug altogether. Sandpaper away excess solder. Alternatively: drill two 1/8 inch holes at right spots for plug prongs to drop into. But, easier for water to enter connector via drilled holes...

Buena producto para usar con la mayoría de los batery tenderá, buena calidad y bien empacado, perfecto para usar directo de la batería y así no dañar fusibles por causa de un amperaje más elevado como el de un inflador de llantas, yo lo compré para usar en mi motocicleta, tengo un batery tender Yuasa y va genial

日本語レビュー無かったので人柱。 ハーレースポスタのバッテリー充電コネクタにコチラを接続する事でバッ直のシガソケに早変わり。 シガソケ給電の電熱グローブに使用しています。 シガソケなのでUSB給電にも出来ますし、拡張の幅が広がりとても便利です。 長距離走行時のみ電熱グローブを使用していますが、今のところ使用しながらでもバッテリーの充電もバッチリ出来ています。 ※キーオフでもシガソケへ通電されっぱなしなので駐車の際は要注意 電熱グローブのバッテリーなど高価ですので、バッテリーテンダー用コネクタが付属している車種の方は、コストを抑えて快適装備にできるのでオススメ。
