Awesome Archaeology (The Knowledge)

My son had been asking for a book on Aracheology for some time and a teacher recommended this book. It's not far off being a 'horrible histories' in its make-up and it does contain humour and lots of pictures although colour pictures would have been more pleasing on the eye. That said, my son is really enjoying it and keeps quoting loads of facts that he insists are very interesting! What does the 'HP' add say - 'never talk about anything other than sport when sport is on TV!' Children! Still, he's clearly enjoying it.

An amazingly informative book with pictures and wit. Loved by real life archaeologists and a good source for anyone wanting to know more about archaeology.
