The Armor All AA255 is a solid wet/dry shop vacuum, especially for the price. It delivers strong suction power that handles everything from small debris to tougher messes with ease. I also appreciate the included attachments — they make it simple to clean tighter spaces or cover wider areas depending on the task. While the vacuum performs very well overall, I do wish the power cable were a bit longer for better reach. It also would’ve been nice if it came with an extra filter and a carrying case for easier storage and transport. Despite those small drawbacks, this vacuum offers impressive performance and versatility at a reasonable cost. A great choice if you need a compact yet powerful utility vac.

I was going to comment on the review that convinced me to buy this machine but now I can’t find it! So here’s My scoop: Small and lightweight Lots of attachments Everything can be stored inside the vacuum if you need the space Easy to switch from dry to wet Very cost-effective for what it is Hose is a little short for cars but since the back is so light weight you can just put it on Other seat So I used it to clean my 2005 car with 150,000 miles on it And I have 2 x 50 pound dogs that have made a couple trips to the vet No, it didn’t pick up all the dog hair but it did a pretty good job I used a squeeze bottle and some non-sudsing soap mixed with water (simple green) on the carpets and got them fairly soaked i used a nylon bristle scrub brush to work the soap and water into the carpet and to raise up the pile I let it soak in and worked my way all the way around the car. When I got back to the original seat I sucked up all the dirty water until the carpet was almost dry That got up almost all of the rest of the dog hair and all my spots are gone and my carpet looks brand new in most spots except for where it’s really worn down under the drivers Mat My car looks better than the last time I paid somebody to detail it. I didn’t have to use my carpet cleaner in the car which is cumbersome to use number one and number two I don’t think I want all the outside gunk and oil and all that other junk that seems to get into cars carpets to get in my inside carpet cleaner . And because it’s lightweight and small size we’ve already use it for other various tasks around the house like vacuuming out the dryer vent. In one use alone it has saved me the cost of having somebody professionally detailed the car. quite frankly, you can’t get the car that clean with vacuuming alone as I got it using the Wet feature. I highly recommend this m! it is a great vac particularly if you have an older car or have kids and pets that trash your car Or if you spell sodas and coffee in it periodically like I do !!

This thing SUCKS! I wouldn't doubt that it could suck a golf ball through a garden hose. OK enough jokes. This vacuum is pretty frigging good. It has quite a bit of suction power, even with the attachments. I use it to vacuum my cars and it does a GREAT job! For starters, the electrical cord is about 10 feet, which is nice. Though for most applications, you'll likely still need an extension cord. The suction power is pretty impressive. And it's not much louder than your normal vacuum. It's not blaringly loud, but at the same time it's not whisper quiet. The vacuum hose is adequately long at about 6 feet. Even better, the end of the hose rotates. This makes using it with attachments so much easier as you don't kink the hose as easily. Speaking of attachments, it comes with everything most will need for simple cleaning. It should be said that there is no extension tube as many other vacuums have. That seems to be the only attachment missing. The vacuum does well with a mix of wet and dry vacuuming. I was able to vacuum up sand on a carpet, followed by standing water, then back to a sandy carpet. It also did a thick wet mixture quite well. The collection bucket holds quite a large amount while still being easy to handle. You can carry the unit around while vacuuming, but I'm sure most will set it down before vacuuming. If you're the type to place the unit on the ground before vacuuming, know that it does NOT slide well on the ground. You can give it tugs to drag it along, but know that it's going to give a bit of resistance throughout the process. In short, this was a great buy! I heard a few guys praising it prior to my purchase, so when I initially purchased this, I had high hopes and was ready to discredit most of its workings. I can honestly say that after using this to clean 5 vehicles, and a few household messes, this vacuum holds its own exceptionally well. This is definitely a winner and a great buy, especially for the budget minded who wants to get the best bang for their buck. If I have to mention something negative about the unit, it would be 2 things. 1. I don't like that there isn't enough room to dump all the attachments inside the trash collector of the unit when not in use. Instead, I have to affix them to the top of the unit where they stand tall and proud. 2. The "clamps" connecting the top of the unit and bottom trash collector can sometimes be a bit annoying to align and affix together. Not a big deal, and it's pretty obvious when it's not connected correctly, but every time I opened the unit, I felt myself really taking my time to ensure the two parts were correctly connected. Again small gripes with the unit. This just shows how well it was designed. As usual, if I run into any problems, I will update this review accordingly. But as of right now, things are going extremely well. UPDATE: After 2 years, this thing STILL runs like a champ. I don't only use it for my car, but I've also used it to clean up inside my home as well, even after light construction projects. This was truly an item worth buying. It's been invaluable over the past 2 years.

Received the product first that arrived broken. Requested a replacement which i received and then decided to try out the replacement. It started up and then a flame came out the side almost catching me on fire and then when i got the hoover off began smoking. I contacted the seller and they were very unprofessional with dealing with it repeatedly attempting to make me pay for the shipping and then i was called dishonest! i don’t think the dishonest one considering i was sent a product that almost set me alight!

I did not get paid or receive anything for my review. I personally purchased and paid for this item on line from Amazon.ca ( Verified Purchase ). The “ Armor All “ Dura Vac AA255 2.5-Gallon 2 HP Wet and Dry Vac is very light at 7 lbs. 7.3 oz with all the attachments and the hose inside it, and it has a flat bottom and will not tip over very easily. The hose is just plastic but long enough to reach any area inside any vehicle. The unit is the correct size and shape for both carrying or for placing it inside on the car floor to vacuum. The dimensions are 14 inches tall to the top of the handle and 14 inches wide - front hole to back hole - and 10 inches thick. The on and off switch is a solid rocking style switch with a very audible click and the suction is " unbelievably super strong " for only a 2 HP vacuum. The noise is sufficient but still less than any household canister vac that I have ever used or owned. It comes with a small piece of velcro attached to the 2 prong power cord to keep the power cord neatly secured either around or through the handle. There are 4 slots on the outside at the top back of the canister to store the 4 solid and well made attachments in an upright position. There are plastic areas on both sides to snap in and secure the hose but I find it quicker and much simpler to simply store the hose inside the unit. The unit is very easy to clean and dry after every use. The colours are a really nice orange and black with “ ArmorAll Utility Vac “ decals on top and both sides of the canister. At the very modest price I paid for the unit ( under $50. ) I’m pleased to inform everyone that the “ Armor All “ Dura Vac AA255 10-Litre / 2.5-Gallon 2 HP Wet and Dry Vacuum is 100% worth every penny and does live up to the reviews it has accumulated. For those that are intending to use this little "super vac" on a daily basis for everything in your household you can buy a 3 Pack of blue cloth filters available at amazon.ca for less than $10.00 I strongly recommend this product and I hope you enjoyed my review and it was helpful.

We need a 110v to 240v transformer which can handle 1000 watts has to be used to use this machine in India. A seller selling in India should say it out loud that this product is made for USA and not for India. I did bought a high quality transformer along with this machine and used it for not more than an hour and the vaccum cleaner has stopped working. When we contacted the seller, they replied that warranty void if shipped outside USA, and that is not mentioned anywhere in the product description. All the more, No service center in India has a 110v to 220v transformer to test the machine and to fix it. Kindly help us to fix this machine.
