Did exactly what I needed them to do. - I purchased the model 2 Vibrapods to eliminate floor vibrations that caused my turntable tonearm to bounce and skate whenever I walked past it. I sandwiched the 4 pucks under the feet of my Audio Technica AT-LP-120 which sits atop my Expedit shelves from Ikea and the problem was instantly resolved. No more bounce or skips! Not only that but the rubber helps ground static charge keeping build up away from the vinyl! They may seem a bit pricey but it was worth it because it does the job it was needed for and looks aesthetically part of the turntable feet so you don't even notice them. I read that you can also cut a raquetball in half and place them under the turntable and it will do the same job for only a couple of bucks but I didn't want it to look like an ugly MacGuyver solution so it was money well spent.

**Q: Would there be a benefit to using these under bookshelf speakers that weigh 17.5 lbs each?**
A: You need to divide the bookshelf speaker weight by the number of vibrapods you're using to get a weight per vibrapod. The Model 2 are recommended for 6 lbs each, or 24 lbs total for 4 and would be best for your 17.5 lb speakers assuming you are using 3 or 4 vibrapods.

**Q: I have a pair of speakers that weigh 28lbs ea. Would you recommend Model 2 or 3 using 4 isolators each? One is underrated and the other is overrated.**
A: I had the same question. Go to the manufacturer’s site. They list weight ranges for each product on the FAQ page. These model 2’s are rated for 4-8 pounds each. They say It is not better to “buy bigger” than you need,

**Q: Has anyone used these under the stock feet of a technics sl1200 mk2 turntable and seen an improvement?**
A: I have not used them on a Technics turntable but it helped my Harmon Kardon h55 turntable some what. For $24.00 you can't go too wrong

**Q: Can a paper or plastic liner be used to protect wood shelf from finish damage?**
A: I used these on oak hardwood floors, and also on a wood desk top (type of wood unknown).  Having said that, I did not place anything under them in either case and in my situation did not experience any damage to the wood surfaces.  The speakers I had them under as well were oak and/or painted wood of some kind (pressboard probably).  I can only relay my experience.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works well, interesting sizing wrinkle

This is an interesting review: My rating is actually 3.5 stars (not allowed in Amazon's system), but could be four, maybe even five stars, except for one thing (below). The Vibrapods themselves work well. It's important to choose the correct model, as the pods are designed to squish down *a little* when in place, but not completely flatten. They seem to be as effective as anti-vibration products from Auralex and SVS, but at a lower price. The are semi-hollow in the bottom, and thus meant to be attached with screws. I managed to cut small pieces of 3M VHB tape to fit the inner circle, which works fine in my completely stationary application (a small component shelf sitting atop a subwoofer), but might not last in a situation where the component needs to slide around. So, what keeps them from being a 5-star product (IMHO)? My application weighs about 14.5 lbs. This is slightly above the recommended weight range of Model 1; and slightly below the range of Model 2 -- at least, when using four Vibrapods: Model 1: 2-3 lb. per pod (8-12 lb. for a set of 4) Model 2: 4-8 lb. per pod (16-32 lb. per set of 4) This is also true of the other models, except Model 2 -> Model 3: there are small, but significant, weight ranges that fall outside the recommendations for each size. I suspect that they were designed to match common audio components and speakers, and tuned accordingly. Or perhaps they we sized to prevent customer confusion when choosing a model? The Vibrapod FAQ implies that one should use 6 or even 8 pods to cover such situations. I'm sure that this works, but the cost and size increases might not make this appealing to many. (They also seem to be sold in packs of 4.) I ended up choosing a set of Model 2s and hoping.
