It's a little expensive, but definitely not over priced and it's worth every penny. It's great for beginners and experienced colorists. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this coloring book and I HIGHLY recommend it for people of all ages and coloring experience! The only thing I will say is that it is double sided so you can't use alcohol markers in this book, but colored pencils and other mediums work great! Paper: not bright white but still white not ivory/cream. will take almost any medium with the exception of alcohol-based markers. Perfect for pencils of any kind - colored, pastel, or even watercolor. Value: exceptional, even if you don't complete a single page. The artwork is amazing, you can just enjoy it as is. But if you decide to color, it will give you hours of enjoyment. Just be prepared to lose hours of your life coloring in this book! This little bit I colored in has taken me close to 4 hours but then I'm a very slow and patient colorist.
