A: There is a liner inside. The dimensions of the liner are 27" wide, 13" top to bottom and 15.5" front to back.

A: It is very easy to assemble. You place the bottom down first. The sides are all attached together, unfold them, and put them on the base. Then you velrco the cloth lining inside. The top is not hinged, so you can just put it on. EASY AS PIE.

A: I don't know, I'm still waiting for someone to assemble it for me!

We love the beachy vibe this gives off. We just got this and so far it is sturdy and it seems to be solid so we don't expect this to degrade much. The storage space is great. We have around 8 throw blankets in the chest and could probably fit more. It did not off gas or have any kind of weird smells so that was a relief as this is in a small space. The reason for 4-stars is the assembly was tricky. The pre-drilled holes did not line up properly so we had to wrangle the piece quite a bit to get it to work. Also, two sets of hands is preferable. One to steady the piece while the other puts in the screws. Overall, we recommend this piece.
