Amazon FreeTime Kids Headphones, Blue

Bought these and the kids Kindle Fire HD for my 7 year old grandson for Christmas. He uses them just about every day and they are still going strong...and unbroken. I realize it's only been a month or so but they have hundreds of hours of use in this time. Although I think they feel a bit flimsey, they are still in one piece. Everything is so quiet when he wears them.

I can't honestly recommend you buy this item. I originally bought two sets of headphones for my kids to use with their new Kindle Fire Kids edition at bedtime. The first one I received the headphone jack broke Amazon quickly replaced it. Now fast forward a few weeks the sound isn't working (even after changing parent volume setting) and black ear pieces keep falling off.

These worked great for about 3 months. Bought for my 6 year old to use with the iPad. Now one side no longer emits sound constantly and the other goes in and out.

We purchased this as a gift for a 5 year old for his first headphones. The life span was about 20 minutes. The child was playing a game with the headset on and was able to pull on the wires enough that it caused an open circuit. If your child can be rough, these may not be the best investment.

Great so far. Sound is not great but to be expected with price range paid. Perfect for kids. My 10 year old is almost too large for them. I would say great for ages 4 through 10 at the oldest.

They are good for little ones (my children are 3 and 5). The headphones are durable and the volume control protects their hearing. My kids like the colors too (blue for my son, pink for my daughter). Kid friendly all around! We bought them to go with their kindle fire kids editions (which they also love).

Headphones where great at first. Lasted 4 months before a short developed and only one ear works now. My son really does love these headphones. I just wish they would last longer than 4 months.

Do NOT buy these. Volume poor, jack broke after 5 uses.
