This is the hubby of Kathy writing. We have a beast, A VW V10 Diesel Touareg. It requires 2 batteries and something seems to be drawing power all the time in that beast. So we bought two of these batteries that advertise their combination of deep cycle and starting capability. And I bought a pretty expensive CTEK battery charger specially made for charging this type of battery. These batteries have now been through about two to four periods when I didn’t use the beast much and they discharged to the point I could not start the beast. I only have one charger that can be used on these batteries so it was a 2 or 3-day ordeal to go through all 8 cycles of charging and reconditioning for both batteries. But this last time, the neither battery would take a charge. So, I wrote an email to the guy with BatteryMart that I had written to before and his email bounced. I copied the email address in their contact information on their website and have received no reply in four days. I don’t know what their reason or excuse is for not replying, but it is very disappointing to pay close to $600 (with tax) for a couple of batteries and have them. I have tried to contact them through Amazon since their warranty stipulates that online purchases go through the reseller for warranty. I plan to change my review if something changes in their response or lack of response to warrant a change. Trickle chargers that do not have a regulated trickle charge voltage between 13.5V and 13.8V (no lower than 13.5V and no higher than 13.8V) will cause early failure of the Battery. Use of such chargers with the Battery will also void the Battery’s warranty.

Fit my 1992 Mercedes 300D TurboDiesel. This thing is a beast. You can tell by how heavy it is. The previous owner put a undersized cheap battery in the car, and it would barely start. With this, it fires as soon as I turn the key. Made in USA

Unfortunately using it in my Landrover LR3 it did not work and one cell died after about 9 Months with Voltage dropping to 9.5Volt on load.

to big and expencive time will tell if it was a good buy

I replaced a OEM BMW 105MaH battery with this. Odyssey does not make a product that fits the mounting brackets and is also 105Mah, so I settled for this which is 95- 97 MaH, I believe. Odyssey makes a good product. If I get 5 years out of this battery I will consider it a good investment.
