Seems to be a good quality product. Picture is good, but the viewing angle isn't as wide as I expected. I think the 170 degree viewing angle is noted as "diagonal" and the horizontal angle is actually 145. It's ok, but not as wide of a viewing area as most factory backup cameras I've seen. Instructions are translated from some other language to English so some terminology does not make sense. I had to use common sense to figure out some things.

Update - less than 2 months later, it's completely dead. Original review - I had a license plate camera exactly like this one that suddenly failed. While this model looks identical and does function, the quality is significantly lower than the one I had. The picture is very low quality and has a lot of grain and distortion. While trying to adjust the angle of the camera, one of the Allen key screws became tilted in place and will not move. I can still see what's behind me, but this prevents me from having the angle I want. The instruction manual is an extremely incoherent waste of paper, I've seen bad translated from Chinese manuals, but this one is definitely has the most nonsensical array of words crammed together. I gave 3 stars because it was inexpensive and serves it's function as a rear camera, but this really should be better.

Good quality only had on for a week but east install

2010 Jeep grand cherokee srt8. First off. The frame is a solid piece it does not flex, the paint is definitely going to water stain. Not a big deal, I plan on repainting it before I mount it permanently. I had a concern about it leaving no room for my thick fingers to pull the latch, that isn't a concern any longer, plenty of room. Very small deference than with out it. This is a replacement for one I have already mounted that almost stops you from pulling the latch and covers both the county sticker and the state name, that is illegal in most states. This one does not cover the sticker position and although it does cover half of the state name, just small cut out to that section to show the state completely. The video and trigger 1/4" connection are standard for aftermarket devices. I was able to swap it out in 15 minutes. Now the camera view is pretty good, I was surprised, I set the view position facing the Sun, camera was good there to. I give this reverse camera a thick thumbs up. It's really nice for the price.

It has been installed now for 10 months and the picture is great, when very bright out it is sometimes hard to see may need more adjustment

As it suggests, put your license plate fitted over your license plate put the screws back in and done as for wiring it not as bad as I thought it would be
