Columbia Cooling Gel Memory Foam Pillow, Queen

So I am someone needs just the right pillow to sleep well and avoid neck aches. I am writing this review to say that this pillow (for me) is by far the best ever. This is my second one, my last one I used for 6 years, until it wore down. It is expensive, so I tried at least 10 other pillows to try and save money....I should have just spent this money without trying the other 10. This pillow is amazing, perfect support, but sinks perfectly with my head. I wake up with no pain. The cooling side is very noticeable for the first hour, like its cold on your head, but that does wear off. I dont use this pillow for solely the coolness, it is the comfort. You have to try it !!!!

This is the best pillow I’ve ever owned! I love the Omni- cooling effect in the middle of the night! It’s a comfortable pillow-no achy neck in the morning. My 1st purchase lasted 7 years until gradually it flattened and stopped cooling as well. I recently tried to save money and bought the less expensive $55 version which is not comparable nor comfortable! It cannot begin to compare to this $109 pillow! Returning the cheaper version after one night. So, I guess 7 years is a good life for a pillow. If I break down the cost, it’s less than a penny per day.

First of all, other reviewers said this was a fake Columbia pillow because it has a zipper. This pillow is a second generation meaning the pillows now include a zipper so you can take the case off and wash it, I prefer to have it this way to keep the pillow fresh. Second, the cooling effect is nice but only lasts a few minutes, I have not come across a pillow that stays cool all night regardless of what what the manufacturers say. Now this pillow does however seem to not be as warm as other's. Now for the most important thing at least for me is comfort, I suffer from chronic pain and I struggle with sleep, so having a good pillow is important to me, I've tried so many pillows over the last three year's and all different brands and price's. I am a combination sleeper so I don't fit into any certain pillow category, the pillows I've tried are to firm or to soft, they are like a brick or the pillow flattens out. The Columbia pillow however has just the right sink, it gives me support when I sleep on my side but when I lay on my stomach and want to hug the pillow it squishes perfectly. For me at least my pillow search is over.

Height and firmness are nearly perfect. Cooling capacity a little less so, but this is a relatively light weight pillow and that's a plus for me. So this is my back up. Recommend.

Best pillow ever. I was blessed upon this amazing pillow after trying all kinds of cheaper versions of the cooling pillow to no avail. My boyfriend also was in the market so I always look at Ross. One day I found this pillow for 24.99 so I bought it for my man thinking I’d go back and get myself the same one if I liked it.. well I loved it and never saw it at Ross again, although I still check everytime I go there. When I looked it up to buy anywhere else it was so much more expensive. I waited and waited and finally Amazon did a flash sale over the holidays for like 12 hours so I blasted that sale out to all my family begging them to buy it for me for Christmas. In the meantime, in case no one jumped to buy it for me, I bought one for myself right then. Ended up getting one for Christmas so now we have three. Hands down best cooling pillow ever. It’s the best purchase I ever made so I bought another one... over time.. the price is high and even though it’s totally worth it, it’s a lot to spend on a pillow but I had it on every

I bought one of these pillows years ago, best pillow ever. So I decided to splurge and get a new one so it would be a new amazing one. Unfortunately there must be some changes in the make of the pillow. The one I just received is thinner, not as springy, and just generally worse than my 5 year old pillow. It doesn’t feel right returning a pillow I’ve slept on, so I will let my family decide if anyone wants it. I will keep using my old pillow, I’m just so disappointed. I was so looking forward to having a new amazing one.

Every where on the list of what it's good at is bupkis. First this is supposed to be a king size pillow, it's only 3 inches longer than a queen. Second, it doesn't cool as advertised. Feels cool if you're not laying on it. Lay a head down, and it warms right up. Last, I believe everyone is resorting to cheep ass material to make these, but charge a arm and a leg still as if it's a quality pillow. The only okay thing about it is is a little more comfortable than 1980's pillows. So with this all said, buyer beware.

I use this pillow for sleeping. It is cool to the touch and it stays cool throughout the night. It is very comfortable.

Sinks down to almost nothing, have to keep waking up and adjusting pilllow to fluff and get any cool spot.
