It covered the major categories of style, then broke down the kitchen in clear chapters, covering flooring, appliances, backsplashes, countertops, cabinetry, center islands, etc. My husband and I enjoyed flipping through the pages together to talk about what we liked and didn’t like, so it was a fun way to explore our plans together. 5 stars. Fantastic, comprehensive guide to all the elements of a kitchen
I thought this book was really great...we are building a new high end custom home and the ideas and concepts throughout the book were logically and clearly covered in a perfect amount of detail with lots of inspirational photos illustrating the various chapters. It covered the major categories of style, then broke down the kitchen in clear chapters, covering flooring, appliances, backsplashes, countertops, cabinetry, center islands, etc. My husband and I enjoyed flipping through the pages together to talk about what we liked and didn’t like, so it was a fun way to explore our plans together. 5 stars.

Good info. But deficient in some areas.
Good book. Lots of detail. Too little info on marble and would preferred more info on incorporating open kitchen to dining spaces. Very sparse in this area. But overall a good book.

Not really their fault but the kitchen ideas are already outdated
It's not a bad book, especially if you don't trust your own design eye. Everything is covered but it's just not very interesting. I've remodeled before so I don't need the basics. If you are confident with your own design sense and you look at current magazines or websites, you will not get much out of this book.

Not a British book on Kitchens so none available here.
This book is an American publication and although lots of lovely kitchens none available here, same with accessories and flooring.Not really suitable if you are planning a kitchen , nice to look at but that's it.
