These are an excellent set of cards for learning and practicing rune casting/divination. I was particularly happy with the two separate sets, one for learning and one for readings, in case one doesn’t have or intend on purchasing actual runes. I have worked with runes and these cards work just as well, better for my purposes because I use these in addition to tarot/oracle readings. The learning set contains the rune symbol on one side and the fundamentals on the other, written with clear language and useful keywords and phrases. The casting set have the rune symbol on one side and are blank on the other. For ‘casting’ I do not bother to shuffle, since the deck volume is quite small as compared to a tarot deck, for example. I simply spread the cards on the table, symbol side down, then swirl them around with both hands until I feel certain cards resonating as the cards to cast. It works quite well. You can also pick one card as a single focus reading. Also, I chose to trim the white border from the casting set, as well as round the corners with a We R Memory Keepers card corner punch tool ($10 here on Amazon). I used the 4mm punch, which gave a nice look to the rune cards. I also edged the cards with an espresso brown art marker (I chose the Tim Holtz Distress Marker in Espresso), which matched the brown border and gave a beautiful finished look to the deck. I left the ‘learning’ set as is to differentiate. I’m very pleased with the outcome and very pleased with this set of cards.

An excellent learning aid for anyone starting to work with the runes, these cards cover the Elder Futhark there are two sets of cards quite large but easy to handle and they are of an excellent quality. One set has the runic symbol on one side and a printed back with tips on learning the basics, pronunciation, keywords and phrases and interestingly magical workings the other set is blank on the back with just the symbol printed on it and once you have gained some experience will be a useful tool for doing your readings. The delivery to me here in the UK was excellent I cannot think why no one in this country has not thought of creating something like this.

I was trying to learn the futhark runes and these are great. I bought them on impulse a little and didn’t read everything, so I was happily surprised there are actually two sets of cards, one set for leaning and another for divination. Very good buy for anyone Interested in Nordic lore.

This is a great set. One set with rune and meaning another with just the rune. It's a great set for learning and for rune drawing For a daily card or rune casting. Highly recommend great set.

I really like these cards for learning the Runes. There are two sets of rune cards. In each set there are 24 cards with a symbol on each card. There is a card without a symbol on one side and the meaning on the other side. Thus, there are 25 runes in each set. One set with the rune symbol on one side, and on the other side gives the information about the rune- Rune themes, Keywords, Key Phrases, Pronunciation The the other set does not give information about each symbol. This set is so you can practice readings with symbols only and test your new skills. The book is thin but gives plenty of information and is very helpful. I'm familiar with runes but wanted to work build and improve my skills. I really like these cards for learning the basics of runes.

These are flash cards in a sturdy box. Very plain and basic this comes with a thin pamphlet. I would recommend getting a good book on runes. Actually is two sets: One set with nothing on the back, and another set with identification, pronunciation, theme, keywords, magickal working, key phrases as well as reversed key phrases. About 3 5/8" wide X 5 1/8" tall X 5/8 " thick (combined set).

Wonderful product. I purchased these for my teenaged daughter for Christmas. She loves them. Vendor was very kind and accommodating due to usps shipping issues during holidays and sent free replacement since original order never arrived. Of course original order arrived 6 weeks after shipping so I am returning replacement to vendor.

Anyone wanting to learn Runes, these flash cards are perfect. My order came two days before expected, which was a nice surprise :) Thank you to JD for a great product.
