Does it damage the doorframe?

Could do if a soft timber frame. We use additional paddy on ll the pressure points and that works fine. Been using for over 2 years and not a single mark on the door frame.

Is there any movement on the 6" inch thickness requirement? I only have doorframes with 6.5" depth

Never really checked. Would imagine it may just put a little more pressure on the door from as it would not be sitting flat. Just add a bit extra protection.

My door frame measures 1cm in depth (from the wall to the front edge of the frame). Is this deep enough for the top of the pull up bar to rest on?

Hi Yes that should be ok I use it door frames with 1 cm over hang.

What's the minimal depth for a door frame that this will safely fit?

I've been using it on a 15cm width doorway, which is just about wide enough. I originally wanted to set it up on a 12cm width one, but it hung at too much of an angle for it to feel safe.
