Or thin material like the new ones?** A: I've bought at least ten pair of Levi's 517 and 505 jeans in the last few years. All of them have been the normal 14oz weight and quality. The ones I've worn the most have not shown any more wear than normal. **Q: Are these the stretch style now that seems to be taking over the regular???** A: The original zip fly, first created in 1967, the 505 Regular Fit Jeans are one of Levi's most popular straight fits. 100% Cotton---so there is no stretch material like Spandex in the fabric. **Q: Those pants have no zipper fly, correct? Only button? I just want to make sure, thank you!** A: 505 have a zipper fly. The 501 have a button fly. **Q: Are these jeans manufactured in Mexico?** A: Out of five pair I ordered, three were made in Mexico. I returned them all for paper-thin, stiff, bad quality. One pair (501's) was made in Egypt.
