My laptop has 2.4 ghz wifi support but it frequently disconnect. will this device solve the disconnect issue? my wifi router is working fine

After inserting the device, You need to turn off the native laptop WiFi found in the right bottom system tray icon. Then keep the tp-link’s WiFi on. Restart the system twice. Now your system will be ready for realising the full power of WiFi through this device. 3.) If you use VPN, then you will see drop in the internet speed. So, use it only if it’s essential.

Is that mandatory to install the driver from the given cd? i don't have cd drive in my laptop, how to proceed ?

check manual.. i used by cd drive only... no idea
