I know that's a little on the young side, but he's a very technical "player" and is very gentle on his toys as we've taught him to be. Product is great and he/we couldn't be more pleased, he will play with these Bruder toys for hours on end and also loves his little Bruder men that can drive the trucks. I read many reviews before purchasing and yes, they are made of plastic, and yes, some parts are more rubbery to allow give when dropped (better to give a little than break) etc, but this is a very high quality toy and is a better choice for my young guy that heavy di-cast products. Nothing broken thus far, but it's great if something does pop off it can easily be popped back on or you can buy spare parts from the factory at very reasonable prices.

Our 5 year old LOVES this truck. He takes it outside to move rocks and dirt around or brings it inside to move his hot wheels cars. The dump truck doesn’t actually tilt up to dump, but the back does have a door that things can go through. The lack of tilt has not stopped him from loving it and using it often.
