Quality product and excellent service
The RO system works very well. The water tastes great. Looking at the water quality reports in general and locally, I was surprised at the types and amounts of pollutants that make it to the spigot. that's why I looked into RO and purchased this unit. In this regard, there is no comparison to "regular" filters - RO is far superior. And this unit is excellent. I feel that I am getting safe, clean, good tasting water - couldn't ask for more. Note that over time (many months a year maybe?) the pressure may drop, resulting in decreased flow from the spigot. I think this may be common to these types of systems, am not sure. Having an instant hot and cold system that run off of the line from the filter may add to this problem. In any case, if this happens, the tank must be re-pressurized. Though this is not difficult, per se, it does take time and to do it yourself, you need to be handy. Installation: I installed it in my home. Part of the review is "easy to install." I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 simply because it's not a 10 minute job that anyone could do. If you are handy and have the time and tools, it's not a problem. Since I installed my unit in the basement, the floor of my home just below the sink cabinet, I had plenty of room. If you're installing it in the cabinet below the sink, you would have to be comfortable with the smaller space. That said, the instructions are very good, and the installation went without a problem. Service: After several months I had a problem (reduced flow from the spigot) and called the company. Amazingly, an actual human being picked up the phone. John was very helpful. He listened and made sure he understood the problem. He then offered a solution (in this case a new tank at no cost), and enouraged me to call back if that didn't work. Well, it did and kudos to John and the company. Service matters - great job.

Clean Water, affordable filters, great AMERICAN based company :)
Very nice quality system, replacement filters are affordable and so far I've experienced great customer service from an AMERICAN based company. I had to contact the manufacturer for a quick verification to an inquiry I had. To my surprise a native English speaking (I have an auditory processing disorder making it hard for me to understand regular conversations let alone a conversation with someone who speaks with a heavy accent) HUMAN representative answered the phone and my inquiry in 2 seconds. This really validated any concerns I had about my purchase. I've had a cheap RO system before so I'm somewhat familiar with how RO systems work. This time around I wanted a beefier/better filter for my "new" house as my plan is to use the system for ANY water to be consumed. I bought the model with the electric pump to process the RO water a little faster. The untreated water is 'forced' through the RO filter and rely on line pressure to do so. The unit with the electric pump helps generate clean water a little faster and keep better pressure on the system. Although this is an under-sink filter system, I opt'd to install mine in the basement underneath where the kitchen sink is. Regardless of where you install it, the system installed quick and easy. This is designed to be installed in-line with the kitchen sink so if you want to do a basement installation like mine, you will need some additional parts to make it work although this is not a typical setup. Overall, I'm very happy with the quality of the items, the quality of the water and taste. It's even improved the taste of the coffee. I would recommend to friends, family, and strangers looking for a water filter. Unrelated to the product itself (specifically Amazon): BUYER BEWARE, as you should be with anything you buy on Amazon. I bought this 1 week before prime day (July 8, 2025) knowing it might go on sale in a few day but I wanted to install it over the holiday weekend as I was off of work. I contacted Amazon via their chat bot and was told by an Amazon representative to go ahead and buy it and if the item went on sale, they would "work with me" but was also told they didn't offer price matching on sales. OK, I thought...they said they would "work with me" and I took that for more than it was worth and foolishly ordered the item. Of course, the item immediately went on sale during Prime Day for almost $70 less. I would have been ok with say $7 less from a sale but it went on sale for $70 less. That is a huge price difference and when I contacted Amazon for them to "work with me", they acted as if I was the crazy one and that the representative never said that. Well, they did offer me a "courtesy credit" for the difference but that isn't cash back, that is a credit to your amazon account that can only be used on Amazon.com sold items. I still had to pay the full amount to my credit card company. Anyhow, they also did tell me I could purchase the new item then return the original item to get the lower price. I [again] foolishly didn't do this but should have...so my point is, play the Amazon game and do your due diligence to get the best price because Amazon doesn't care if the item is 3x more or less, they ain't voluntarily offering you anything better unless you kick and scream and then MAYBE they'll offer you a courtesy credit that can only be used on select items. Don't let Amazon be the reason you don't purchase this filter. The above paragraph is specific to Amazon, not the device.

Great RO system and tremendous product support by Nick
Florida is not noted for its delicious drinking water and Sarasota is no exception. To rectify this I ordered an iSpring RCC7P-AK reverse osmosis under-the-counter water system from Amazon four years ago. I am not the quickest guy in the world when it comes to putting things together but it was was relatively easy to set up because the instructions were clear and the company has posted a step-by-step YouTube video to facilitate the process. The taste of my water is now much improved and the unit worked flawlessly for four years with semi-annual filter changes until a few weeks ago when the flow was very slow coming out of the unit. I called the iSpring customer support telephone number and was pleasantly surprised. Instead of encountering an answering machine with a long menu of options to choose from interspersed with music and product offers while I answered the questions and waited in line for an agent to answer, a real person actually answered my call. And not just any person, but a trained technical services representative named Nick. Nick asked why I was calling, I explained my problem and he immediately began troubleshooting it over the phone. He suspected my pressure tank was probably low in pressure and recommended that I empty the water tank, adjust the pressure with a bicycle pump and pressure gauge and then give it a couple of hours to refill. He told me the procedure was clearly explained in an on-line YouTube video which he told me where to find. He finished by saying if I had any questions or problems to feel free to call him back. I did as he directed and for a while the RO output water pressure was fine. However after about a week it reverted to being super slow again. So I called the iSpring customer support telephone number again and, just like the last time, it was immediately answered by Nick. I explained that the output RO water pressure was low again and that I had checked the pressure in the tank with my pressure gauge and that dirty water had spurted out when I checked the pressure and the gauge read 70 psi, which is 10 times what it should be. He concluded that the tank had a ruptured diaphragm and needed to be replaced. He asked me how old the unit is and when I told him he said it was out of warranty. I prepared myself for the worst, figuring it was going to be expensive to replace. To my surprise he said he would send me a new one at no cost if I would send me an Amazon proof of purchase receipt which I promptly supplied. The following business day I received a mail saying the replacement pump was being dispatched. Now that is what I call customer service. Hooray ISpring, Hooray Nick!

Great product, even better customer support (Nick)
Here I am 4 years later adding to my review. Recently had a leak from the top of the second stage. We use are water quite a bit so I am sure it has some good use. I contacted customer support, and once again they were 20 out 10. Nick has been helping me for the past few years, and he is on top of everything. They sent me a new system even though it has been a few years since the purchase. Not only that, he threw in a pressure regulator that could have been the cause of the leak. Anyone that is browsing for this product, I cannot recommend it enough. The product is great, the water is very enjoyable, and the customer support is the best I have ever had. Coming back 2 year after my first review. Once again, I am grateful for such a great customer service. Today I was replacing my filters and assumed the nipple on the membrane spins like the others. It does not and I broke it. Contacted customer service and this time I was helped by Nick. He is sending a replacement today at no charge. My system is just a little over 4 years old. With regular minimal maintenance the system work like it is new. I am very happy with this system and highly recommend to any that are interested in getting it. Water taste good and it's easy to assemble. Best of all, customer service will not let you down. I have had the 6 stage system for about 2 years now. To start off with, the install was easy to do while following the instructions. The water taste great once you remove the first batch after replacing the filters. Pressure coming out is decent, though I will say I wish it was a little quicker. During the 2 year period, I have only had 2 issues. One is the diaphragm inside the take must have been faulty or come loose, allowing for pressure to drop and making the pump continuously run without stopping. Some may see this as a negative but I expect for items to occasionally have a bad apple. I called and spoke with Don and he was able to troubleshoot the issue quickly. Not only did he troubleshoot it he replaced the take and system immediately. Don was amazing on the phone and I could not have asked for better support. Once the new system arrived, everything worked smoothly. My second encounter was after this Texas storm. With boil water warning in place in our area for 2-3 days, it is recommended to replace filters. Unfortunately Amazon did not have the 6 stage available so I reached out to Ispring again. I had the fortune of dealing with Don again and once again he was amazing. He suggested I get the 5 stage and he would supply me with the 6th stage that was missing. They truly care about their customers. Their website has the filters priced a little more and they still have you go on Amazon to purchase it for a lower price. I would recommend this product to anyone interested in getting it. System works well, water taste great, and the customer service incredible. Thank you Ispring!!

2023 UPDATE! BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE! Great Product! had Issues, customer support really stepped up.
July 2023 Update: So a few weeks ago my, now 3 year old RO machine, started having a real loud knocking sound. I'm like "Well, great, I'm out of warranty and probably screwed," but at worst I felt that it works, its just annoyingly loud. I sent in a ticket to their customer service, and figured worse case scenario is they say I'm out of warranty and wouldn't help. I get a message back, they ask for my purchase order for warranty information and I'm like, "here it comes" Well Nick sent me the part I thought was bad no questions asked. I was taken aback a bit, got the part, replaced it. Still knocked. Messaged him again, and he sent me a replacement RO machine! I'm like WTF?! They just bought a customer for life. Even if I didn't like the product, which I LOVE, I would stay with a company that has excellent customer service Every. Time. Nick, you just gained a loyal customer. I was contemplating a different company for my second RO machine and whole house filtering. Nope, iSpring now. Thanks again! Original Review: I've been wanting a better water system for a while, spent far to long researching different systems and filtration methods. In the end I chose iSprings, due to their longevity as a company, and then selected this model of RO due to the benefits of the pump. However, I learned, this has a downside: more moving parts that can break. INSTALLATION: I had to install an electrical outlet in the underside of my sink to plug in this device. If you are reading this and don't want to, know how to, or pay to install, an outlet, I can't recommend this model, there are other models that do not require power to work, look into those. Beyond electrical, installation was fairly simple, you will need to drill a few holes for most installs, I imagine, but overall it was very simple with minimal spills and leaks. The connection system used is really good, I had a few connections that leaked a bit, but a quick adjustment and those were resolved, and they didn't require tools to correct. WATER: I bought a water tester and found my water was about 27 ppm, for comparison, my tap water was about 360. Water has a different taste, which I attribute to the alkaline filter, but definitely a better one that doesn't make me slightly nauseous after consuming a glass. One awesome benefit, is that using RO water in your coffee machine makes the coffee, not just taste better, but won't clog up your coffee maker. Plus making drinks, like lemonade, tastes much better as well. ISSUES: About 3 months into owning this filter, I noticed the water was over 100 ppm, I attributed that to the quality of my tap water. I replaced the filters and found that my water was STILL over 100 ppm and rising. I even noticed my RO Membrane was collecting a white scale and eventually water was being produced at a drip, for reference a Membrane should last a year or two, this one lasted 3 months. I contacted iSprings customer support online and opened a ticket. Richard contacted me within a day and we exchanged a few messages, he then called and ran me through several troubleshooting items. He expedited me some post filters, and a new RO membrane at no cost. I swapped those out and found no change in the quality of the water being produced. As you can imagine, I wasn't very happy at all, but Richard was very professional and patient with me. At one point I called and spoke to Don. Don was also very professional and patient with me. ( I wasn't rude, mind you, but maybe slightly irritated ) We spoke for more than an hour while he walked me through various steps of disassembly and troubleshooting, to which he determined the issue, and expedited the parts and a third RO Membrane. Replacing the items sent did involve some splicing of wires, which I am no stranger too, but once the repairs were completed my RO output returned to normal. Richard continually followed up with me making sure everything was working even after I informed him that everything was working. In my opinion Customer support is an underrated consideration when making purchases. They can make or break a company, and make people swear off a company or swear by them. At no point did I feel like I got the runaround, or that I was being ignored. iSprings definitely sold me on their company and products regardless of the issues I had. There is never 100% product success, and I understand that completely, but how a company acts when their products breaks is very telling. I basically went through a year's worth of filters in 3 months, and they offered to replace them free of charge, they've earned my money.

Amazing filtration unit, Amazing Customer Service
We have been buying filtered water from town due to a fairly strong chlorine taste in the municipal water. The water is good otherwise. My wife and I live at the end of the municipal water system, on a hill, so we knew the pressure wouldn't reliably be high enough for an RO system unless we purchased one with a pump. I looked at the reviews on the iSpring boosted system and decided to purchase the one you see. There isn't a trace of chlorine taste!! It took good water and made it great!! 1) Some have complained of a noisy pump. That apparently has been resolved. The one we got almost can't be heard in the cabinet under the sink. 2) It is super easy to "install". Great video guidance on YouTube that the company has put up. They have updated the videos periodically (I found three different ones), the most recent one was most helpful to me. I dropped a star on the ease of installation because I had to get creative on how to fit it into the cabinet. I didn't know ahead of time that the filter cartridges were supposed to be supported, the weight of the water and filters aren't good for the housing. So I built a bracket and mounted it under the sink that allows the filters to sit on the floor of the cabinet. To remove it, I lift it off the two retaining screws and set it on the floor outside the cabinet to service. The included hoses are long enough. Everything else was plug and play. 3) The feed water adapter is designed to be installed by hand - it takes very little pressure to seal. I didn't know that ahead of time and every time I tried to tighten it down, the oring seal distorted and was pushed into the tube. I instinctively used hand pressure, it sealed and although the company offer to send me a new one, I felt that it was doing what it was designed to do and it was 'pilot error' that caused the issue. 4) That brings me to the best part - the customer service is AWESOME!!! The communication is kept in a single thread so that it is all documented together. The service rep that has been helping me, Richard, has only treated me with respect. I know everyone who has called customer service somewhere has experienced the attitude that treats you like a dumb little kid who is just trying to take advantage of the company. Not here. They have really been helpful. An issue that we are still trying to resolve is an auto flush solenoid valve that is 'thumping', clicking off and on. When I asked about it, he immediately sent a new one to replace the defective part. 5) I never saw anyone comment on the Alkaline filter so I wanted to mention it here. When you first install it, it will make your water taste 'salty' due to high concentrations of minerals. Let the water run for 30 seconds if it has been sitting all night before you make your first pot of coffee. It is the last thing in the system before the faucet, so there are no minerals in the storage tank. In a couple of weeks the fine mineral particles are gone and it is a non issue. Our source water is 49 TDS (total dissolved solids). When we first installed the system, after sitting all night, from the filter we were getting 123 TDS. Flushing the water took care of that. Now, 4 months of use, the filtered water reads 4 TDS, no flushing necessary, and no chlorine taste.

Clean Water You Can Trust — Backed by Outstanding Support
I’ve been using the iSpring Reverse Osmosis System for a while now, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The water quality is outstanding—clean, crisp, and noticeably better than what we had before. Installation was straightforward, and the system has been running smoothly with minimal maintenance. I’ve been so impressed with this system that I’ve installed it not only in my own home, but also for my parents and a couple of friends. Everyone has had the same great experience. What really stands out is the customer support. Nick from the support team was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and patient—he made sure all my questions were answered and everything was set up perfectly. That level of service is hard to find. Highly recommend this system if you’re looking for reliable performance and excellent support behind it.
