4M Cable Float Switch Water Level Controller for Tank Pump Sump Pump, Water Tank

These are good, they don't last forever but they do last several years. I've been using these to control my well pump but switching low voltage SSR's (solid state relays). The float switches have done their job in my 2000 gallon storage tank for at least 5 years.

I add these to clients cisterns to stop the pump from running dry and burning out. However a relay sound be used in between the pump and float as the power emitted by the pump turning on will probably damage the float switch

I bought two of these for my well water holding tank. I installed them and within a two weeks water was over flowing in my pump room. I bought a replacement float switch and within two weeks my holding tank was over flowing again. That’s what I woke up to this morning. I cut one open and the switch inside is small and cheap against the steel ball inside. These are junk and should be pulled from being sold anywhere. You will have failure on it guaranteed. The worst part is they know they will fail quickly, but sell them anyways.

Good quality item and NO & NC contacts. Just what I needed.
