    My 5 year old and I love this book!  I’ve included a video so you can see how it works. I do think it is appropriate for a preschool/early elementary aged child. For a young toddler, the tabs and page folds would probably be difficult to handle (and honestly easy to break. This book looks much more delicate than our others).  You absolutely can see some of the scenes without the use of the flashlight, but it does still make for a very neat effect!  Endless entertainment. The pages have great animal facts and then the scenes have lots of creatures to find. I’m so pleased with this book!

Purchased this book for our 3 year old. He loved it! Interactive and fun!Down fall, would be I am not sure how long the magnifying piece and slot will hold up as he struggles to get his little fingers on it.Would highly recommend!
