**Q: Will this fit a 92 Chevy and replace my 1988 yJ Jeep wrangler ?**
A: Sorry no it will not fit either of those vehicles.

**Q: Is the bearing usually the issue or is it mostly the Intermediate Steering Shaft?**
A: In most cases, this bearing will solve the issue of a "rattle". I bought both just incase. The shaft will give you a tighter feel in the steering but the bearing will solve the rattling or clunk noise.

A: Sorry Dorman doesn't offer any of those kinds of bearings. This is for the newer GM trucks.

Removing the old one wasn't a hassle, it was installing this new one that was. The part looks well built, and fair to say that to an extent it is considering the idea that their isn't really a better way to improve a part like this. But anyways the problem with my installation is that the middle ring came apart while on the shaft of the steering wheel, when I pulled this part out, only the green shell came out, the bearings and donut ring stayed stuck on the shaft, in was such a hassle getting them off. Considering how tight the area to work is plus the tube in which you insert this part where the shadt ride in is also really small. I had to use the end hook of a boungy cord and slide it in to where it would get behind the bearing first and then used a wrench on the other end of the hooke for leverage to push toward the fire wall, once I got that out it got harder with the donut ring, but after a while I was able to get it out and it was such a relieve, after that I greased up the bearing I snap the donut ring back in (make sure it really snaps in if this happens to you, it should really get stuck in the shell) and then rubbed grease all over the outer shell to help with installing so that it could just slide in the tight hole. Make sure that you aligned the one part of the shell that goes into the cutout of the tube. And do it all in one go, I feel that if you try to pull it out and pushing it back in once it's kind of in there you run the risk of popping that ring donut and bearing out while on the shaft, I feel like that's what happened to me the first time. All in one done get stressed out, it's not the end of the world... and if it is when you're reading this then I'm sorry. Lol
