How did I ever live without this? JosephJoseph does it again. A great, useful product, well made and at a good price. Perfect for scooping pasta or veg from a large pot so you don't have to carry a hot, heavy pot to the sink. Also use it to remove bones, veg, etc. from stock pot.

I had two large versions of this and I thought that they were roomy...this one is XX-LARGE compared to those. I also just purchased a set of colanders for food...this one came in very handy for another use. I collect seashells. Often sellers that I buy from send shells scooped up directly from the beach. These shells are sometimes really dusty. I put the small shells into this colander and hold them under a gentle stream of water to remove the dust and anything else on them. It has worked through thousands upon thousands of small shells. I bought it for the shell use but I can see it holding enough veggies or fruits like grapes, cherry tomatoes, baby carrots, strawberries for maybe two or three people. Check out their larger one that fits in a sink and comes with a smaller colander that attaches to the big one. I love Joseph Jospeh products. This colander is strong and it holds a lot!

This is a great product. I've used it for scooping pasta out of boiling water. Good for draining ground beef out of cooking pan, etc. Doesn't rust or break down. Long, comfortable handle.

This isn't something you can use in anything smaller than a 4qt pot. That being said, it's a great tool for scooping and draining anything from a larger pot of boiling water. Helpful for those of us with wrist and hand strength issues with lifting a pot of boiling water and transferring contents into a colander. Joseph Joseph: please make one of these in a smaller size to add to your collection.

Works wekk. Easier to remove pasta

Where has this Scoop/Colander/Strainer/Slotted-Spoon been all my life? I'm a klutz, and straining liquids out of a pot or pan without spilling anything is a real challenge. I'm also rather good at spilling when pouring pasta into a colander to strain and rinse it. This Scoop/Colander/Strainer/Slotted-Spoon is quite rigid, easy to hold in a stable grip, and very easy to drain into or strain with. It's also the perfect size to hold the contents of a No.2 can you want to drain and rinse. Having this means I dirty fewer kitchen objects in order to get the job done, which is also a big plus. So far, the only down side is storage, but we have found that if the open side of the scoop faces the interior of a kitchen utensil holder, it's not a problem. Thank you for reading my review.
