Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1 Limited Edition [video game]

Warning: VERY BIAS AND UNFINISHED REVIEW I can't believe I got to get one of the one thousand copies of the limited edition! Nice looking strap, SEXY PS-Vita case, and a beautiful picture of Neptune/Purple Heart. The game is HEAVEN! It has addicting gameplay, you can be playing for hours and not notice. Awesome combat and Flashy skill moves. The drawings are really good looking, great looking facial expressions. The story is great, it doesn't go too fast or too slow. LOVABLE CAST! All the characters are pretty awesome! Different personalities bring out the fun! For people who played the original, play this one too because it's a whole new spin from the original. Not dramatically different but it's a great spin! It's excellent compared to the original. This is one of the BEST PS-Vita games you SHOULD GET! This isn't just some "remastered" version, it's a "REBIRTH"!

Wow. This item is getting a lot of negative reviews just because not everyone got it. It was a LIMITED RELEASE after all. Anyways, when I got mine, I was very happy. Being a Neptunia fan, I obviously loved the game. The PS Vita case was awesome. Solid and perfect as a traveling case for my Vita. The key chain (sole reason why it was a limited release) shows a pixelated version of Neptune. Very nice. I also loved the picture that came with it, but I wouldn't display it publicly as it's somewhat... questionable. Ignore the people who were mad because they didn't get a copy. Again, it's a LIMITED RELEASE. You can't really blame IF Int. for this. They never expected so much fans of a niche game after all.

Since many (butthurt) fans wanted the LE on Midnight August 26th and couldn't for various reasons, I'm gonna review a bit since I got it today. Here's what you get in the LE: "Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1 PlayStation®Vita game (US version)" This is a given, would have ticked me off if it wasn't there. "EVA case for the PSVita featuring Purple Heart artwork on the front cover" This I found a bit disappointing because Purple Heart look faded and you can't really use it other than traveling. I'll elaborate more later... "8-bit Nep-Nep rubber accessory strap from Japanese Limited Edition (Approx. 2.5 inches)" It's a bit thicker than I expected. (Shut up!) "Neptune and Purple Heart graphic art, printed on high-quality photo paper with gloss finish (4x4 inches)" It did say the size, though I was expecting a little larger. (Again, Shut up!) Overall this LE is quite good. If you were fortunate to grab it midnight, this is what you'd be expecting.

Terrible planning and execution on this release. IFI will have to do a lot to earn me back as a customer.

No idea how it happened,but i got a Toner Cartridge instead of the LE o___o

Having played the ps3 version before, loving the Hyperdimension Neptunia series (having each LE sealed), and luckily having this ordered without any quibbles, I have to say, the whole ordering process was horrible. It wasn't active at 2AM (central), more like 1.5 minutes after (which probably caused more people to panic and start getting angry). Secondly, the ordering wasn't the usual Amazon (Add to Cart) or whatever it's called. It simply said that it was available from 1 or more sellers, and you had to click that to finally see the Add to Cart button. Some people had issues with their addresses (Valid US addresses if I may add) being accepted by this weird Amazon/Iffy Store hybrid. There were so many stopgaps and restrictions with this system, Yes for being limited to 1,000 units, they probably wanted to prevent customers from ordering more than 1 and perhaps the security was too secure for others' genuine orders. All I can say is, that Iffy Store probably won't be compensating the angry mob with another production run of the LE. It will probably be some lame excuse/gift as Namco Bandai did for Ni No Kuni Wizard Edition, and being a discount coupon for the standard edition or a future title. They will do whatever is the least option to soften the blow and minimize their potential profits off of it. Who knows, maybe more than 1,000 people were expecting the impossible. Frustration was bound to happen with something so limited; being billed as such early on. 1,000 units is 1,000 units. Nothing more, Nothing less. This is what a Limited Edition should be.

Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;birth 1 is a remake of the first installment from the series. This game was intended to be a lot more playable and fun and Compile Heart did just that! As a fan of the Neptunia series, this has to be the most enjoyable game I've played. Great voice acting, gameplay, graphics, and music! When I read that there was going to be a limited edition, I already knew had I had to stay up to pre order. Lucky for me, I work night shift so I had the chance to order 2 quantities. With the 1 day shipping option, my package arrived really early the next day and I got what I expected. Thank you Idea Factory International!

People need to stop trying to blame someone for not getting the product. They did the best they could to bring a limited edition to use giving us what they could. With a limit of 1,000 when the fan base is well over that limit it is only natural that people wont get it. Stop blaming the online store and pose the criticism towards the people who buy it to sell it for a profit, not to enjoy it.
