PlayStation 2 Slim Console PS2 (Renewed)

I have a collection of old ps2 games that I never truly got to play because I had my ps2 stolen a long time ago. But after sifting through my games I decided to buy a new one. I picked one up from here and I couldn’t have been happier. The ps2 functioned perfectly without any issues. Almost like it was brand new.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Purchased a system that was looking really sharp on the outside but it worked extremely terrible. Couldn't play a game to save your life. I returned it and received a new one. The new one on the outside looked beat up but actually worked slightly better than the first. The second system had a mind of its own however freezing often and going extremely slow at the worst times. When you pay over $200 and the say its renewed you expect it to be like new for atleast a little while. I mean we get its an old system but don't lie about your product. These systems work sparingly and most should probably be sold for parts. They should be selling them at $50 or under not $182.

I purchased this console as I have been building up my retro/older game library. The sole reason I purchased this (initially) was because I had some PS2 games that were not running on my thick PS2 and I had read that the slim version can run those that are not running on the thicker console. The second I got this out of the box it has been my PS2 go to. It runs flawlessly and so smooth and takes me right back to my earlier years gaming on PS2.

Works perfectly! Amazing condition. Bought for my husbands birthday. It was a big hit. Highly recommend!

The console itself works great but the generic power supply that came with it didn't work well and would turn the console off thankfully I had an official Sony power supply and working perfectly now

System turns on with no issue, but has trouble reading completely clean discs. Returns error almost every time, especially if the system isn’t resting upright (vertically on its side).

Ps2 slim came exactly on time. Video & Audio works great doesn’t overheat or anything negative at all. Proud to have it added in my collection. The Nostalgia seeing just the loading screen scratched my brain in just the right spot totally forgot how much I loved this system.

Trying to see if i can contact the seller, but I am NOT happy. I bought this about 4 months ago along with 3 PS2 games. X-Men Legends, X-Men Legends 2, and Champions of Norrath. Worked great, until today. I turned the consol on to play one of the games and it said "Unable to Read Disc". I opened the dic tray and saw a trace amount of a white powdery substance. I removed the disc and there is a scratch ring all around the disc which was the source of the powder. I checked the other two games, and they have the same ring. Now I can't play any of them!
