M-Edge Stealth 360 Universal Folio Case Cover with Built-in Stand and Closing Tab for 7 inch Tablet - Black

First Impressions: Same product as sold in stores, if not better. On clearance at staples at 3x price or more, well worth the price, quality built as it appears so far but have not used it yet. I have a 10" version I love, so I tried this one but with the included keyboard. Very impressed so far and eager to use it but 7" nexus is in shop. Material feels like soft leather or fake leather, not sure but feels nice, good stitching, good soft material inside, flap is magnetic seal and can get / store out of way easily, it will kind of secure it self when you are done and kind of automatically close and fasten as you close the case, but it will also fold back and "stick" to the top/back cover out of the way while using the tablet, not really necessary, but one of the things that clearly demonstrates a well thought out and well made product. Mounting system is different than 10" but looks like it will work fine. This model does not have the 360 spin, but I wanted the keyboard for the smaller screen. It might be nice to have both although I know from my 10" version by same brand m-edge, the 360 spin does add a bit of a lump, and maybe you can't have that lump and the keyboard at the same time for some functionality reason. We will see how much I miss it but I am guessing I won't due to being able to spin smaller screen more easily as a unit (just set it down on a different side, which can be done with detachable keyboard). Keyboard is good size even for my large tough hands, little tight but easily adapted to, also blue tooth with charging, hopefully life time battery because I see no hope of replacing battery, even for this handyman. Keyboard has some awesome features though; at first I didn't think it came off, it's that secure a magnetic attachment, it does, and actually with ease but no danger of falling off (just have to see it to know what I mean), and the material underneath, and on the back side of keyboard, is the soft velvet like that won't scratch screen. BUT - the neat thing is that there are these bumpers that prop the screen off the keyboard slightly to keep the screen scratch free. Plus - the keys are slightly recessed below that for additional protection. There is also a spot for a stylus, which seems fine. Like I said I will let you know more once I use it more. Another great feature it the almost infinitely adjustable angle setup. When you remove the keyboard, there is a wide bumpy strip which allows you to go from almost vertical to almost flat and anything in between. Again looks to be promising but will let you know. You can obviously use the case and leave the keyboard home without any problems, and I assume use the keyboard in any number of applications/devices due to being Bluetooth. Overall, encouraged by quality and engineering, looking forward to using it. Tim Semper Fi.

Good protection however one of the 4 straps goes over the on/off button on my tablet so I am l given the choice to use 3 straps or get a lot of unwanted switching.

Straps cover up on/off and sound, but they seem to work regardless. It's just a bit order to turn it on and off and adjust the volume and this can be a pain. Otherwise it is fine.

great for the money....the volume and on buttons are a little tough to get to but it is manageable

Good protection for your device, protection from dirt and dusty situations that happen and it kept the rain off my tablet too,I liked it so much for the price that I got my wife one too!

Advertised to fit 7" tablet but corner straps too loose. However swivel feature is a good design.

It works just like I thought it would. Shipping was fine considering it is the holidays. The cost was similar to Walmart. No complaints at all.
