Very bright, good looking
I was looking for a high power, low profile LED light to mount on a light bar on the front of my Toyota Tundra. I drive a lot of two lane roads at night with a lot of moose and other animals lurking on the shoulders and crossing in front of you. I wanted one with a combination flood and spot lights. I looked at a lot of high lumen, double row bars, but most of them were only 3 watt LED bulbs. The LED bulbs on this bar are 10 watt bulbs. The center 8 bulbs are set up as "spot" lights, while the outer 4 are "flood". Mictuning has several different configurations, lengths, and mounting options for their products. This light bar is mounted using two bolts to mount to a bumper, flat surface, or in my case, mounting tabs on a front mounted light bar. This does not have the mounting brackets attached to the side of the light. It comes well packaged and well protected. There is a wiring harness included with this light that has a push button on/off switch with a green/red LED to let you know if the lights are on or not. The harness includes an in-line fuse, a relay, and sufficient length of wire to mount pretty much anywhere you need on the front of your vehicle. This harness has two sets of terminals for mounting two lights, but only one is needed. There were however, no instructions. I pretty much know how to wire a setup like this, but there is a lot of information on the Internet on wiring driving lights using a relay. The mounting brackets are a simple two bolt setup, with one bolt attaching the ratcheting mount to the light, and one to attach the mount to whatever surface you are mounting to. Installation was actually pretty easy. There is a black and red wire in a protective shroud coming out of the back corner of the light with plenty of length to get it into the grill and attach to the harness. The only problem I really have with this light so far, is that aiming is not very precise. You have to loosen the bolts on the mount enough to move the ratchet part of the mount. Once you have it where you want, you need to retighten, and it rotates the angle downward, so you have to account for that. That being said, this light bar is bright! I was always impressed with the high beams on my truck anyway, but this simply drowns them out. The volume of light up close is almost too much. The spot lights reach a bit farther than my high beams, but throw so much more light out there. Driving through a new road construction with new signs and striping is almost too bright to have this light on, it lights up everything! So far no condensation or leaking has occurred, a problem many of these IP67 rated lights tend to exhibit. I intend to silicone all the joints to make sure though. All in all, a very nice light. As long as it doesn't leak, I will be very happy with this, and will likely buy couple more shorter lights to put on the remaining light tabs on my bar.Update:Well, time and weather seem to have taken their toll on this light bar. Two of the center "spot" lights are barely outputting any light. Every lens has moisture in it, and the reflective coating on the reflector of several of the lights is coming off. The light bar is still bright, but it's reduced due to these problems. Bottom line, lights that only have an IP67 rating will likely leak or have condensation on the interior of the lens. Rain and road water being forced at these lights at highway speeds exceed the ingress rating. I'm reducing my rating to 4 stars because of this. I would have liked to further waterproof this light bar with silicone, but it's construction makes it difficult to properly seal it. I will likely replace this light bar with something able to handle water issues (at a much higher price, unfortunately).

Quality at a great price with first glance...
The quality of this light at first glance is impressive, well weighted to give a feeling of ruggedness with appealing aesthetics lending to its very design being simple with only one clean wire proceeding from the aluminum housing. This unit mounts quite well to the front of my OR-Fab bumper on my Wrangler with enough adjustment to fit where ever I would like it to be mounted. Studs on the bottom move (with the loosening of set screws using the included hex wrench) laterally inward and outward while the mount studs also allow for the unit to be adjusted further for the angle to which the distance the light can be tweaked to your liking. Looking closer at the housing revealed that the manufacturer used a silicone sealant to seal up the lights and the heat sink shows the unit was hurriedly assembled due to the lack of paint on the inner surfaces that would be difficult to reach with a spray gun. I am not being picky but just telling everyone what my observations were during my examinations. The lights I received also included a wiring harness complete with a LED switch, wire sheathing, and the important 40 amp relay already assembled. There was no instructions included but if you have ever wired something similar before you should have no issues. I like an all around light myself as money is tight and options are few for me personally. I made the decision to purchase these lights as I felt they could fill both distance and spread of light roles adequately however not perfectly. After mounting this light to the bumper and installing the included wiring harness (Yes I expect things to work when I purchase them... unless you believe I am being too demanding as a consumer of goods) the light did not come on. Frustrated with the issue I started the trouble shooting to determine that the wiring harness was connected correctly and attached to the two leads coming from the light with the electricity flowing, the switch was working, etc... coming to the conclusion that the light was receiving voltage through the battery but not working... D.O.A. I didn't try to understand why it did not work or cared at this point and only wanted what I should have purchased in the first place. I have now put credence to saying "buy once, cry once" and went with a product that has more than just a cheap price. I am not saying these lights are bad for the money but they should WORK. Even if they are not as bright as the well known competitors they have only one function; to put light into dark places. As for the warranty; I would rather the product perform the first time so I don't have to constantly keep replacing the product with another product that would prematurely fail. I am happy to see that these value lights worked for others. I am not repeating my mistake again but rather decided to just break this terrible chain of events and go with the KC hi-lites as their reputation requires a higher degree of quality control. I have rated this product with one star accordingly. I did appreciate that they arrived in a timely fashion but that is Amazon's doing not the manufacturer's. Thus credit is given where due.As always I am giving Amazon the thumbs up for prompt and hassle free return with a full refund. There is really no where better to buy anything online. Ebay is like throwing caution to the wind as I have been burned enough not to even purchase anything from them unless I absolutely have to.

very bright, mounting brackets could be much better
I was looking for a light that would put a lot of light a good distance down the road and this light bar definitely fits the bill. I replaced the factory headlights on my 04 Ranger with LED lights and while they were much brighter they did not light up the road as far as I would have liked, but after adding this light bar to the front of my truck the difference is night and day. This light bar is very bright and actually shines a long way down the road, much farther than I expected. My only gripe with this light bar is the mounts. I either had to have it aimed lower than i wanted or higher, there was no middle, so i ended up having to make my own. Other than that this light has had no problems so far and i would recomend it as long as you have a way of making your own mounting brackets.

tons of light for the money
I like the light these put off in comparison to the 3 watt led models. It produces a very strong spot beam that carries a very long distance instead of a big flood that doesn't carry far. That being said I a lot of people seem to be complaining of moisture damage. Mine stays under cover or in a garage at all times when not in use. It has been exposed to plenty of wet and lousy conditions and so far I am not seeing any moisture damage. I found the mounts to be a bit finicky to fine tune to my liking. One notch can really change where the thing tosses light.
