MRS File Backup/Recovery System and Diagnostic Utilities for All Versions: Mac OSX, Windows, & Linux

This was a piece of crap and did not work. I wadded my money and had to purchase a different program.

I purchased this for my friend but we worked together trying to fix his 2013 mac. They don't tell you but you need to insert the disc, restart your mac and hold the "c" key to boot from CD. After figuring that out things went much quicker. You basically get a complete operating system that you can use instead of osx, not that you necessarily want to do that. However, if osx does not boot you have an alternative to get it going. Even though Jerry's imac did not boot osx, we were able to boot it with this disc and using the file manager, we were able to grab some important design files he had in a weird save location

Worked great on my mac book pro with intel core duo. Was able to boot up the system and copy my files from the hard drive to the flash drive. I reloaded from my old backup and osx is back. I think some people are confused, this is not osx, this is a separate operating system that is a sort of diagnostics and emergency system that can load from the cd if osx is not loading.
