Rugged, Reliable, efficient!

I have been using this product for the past 30 months+, and am completely satisfied with the performance. I have had horrific data losses from HDD failures in the past, and after a detailed research opted for this. Worth the money, considering the ruggedness of the product and the USB 3.0 compatibility. Data transfer is a breeze! My unreserved recommendation for a truly superb product! By the way, this HDD was accidentally pulled out from the computer several times but nothing adverse happened. Only competitor to this is perhaps the Buffalo mini station (I do have one for 5 years now) but then that is far far far more expensive.

Too Good!!!!!

Okay now,straight to pros and cons Pros: 1.Aluminium body 2.Pretty good sequential read and write speeds (Write:108MB/s; Read:116MB/s) 3.Extra 4.25" USB 3.0 cable docked at the side, for portability 4.Military grade protection (haven't tested it yet and hope I don't in the near future) 5.Good heat dissipation capacity and literally zero vibration (Copied about 400 Gigabytes of memory at a stretch) 6.USB A-A cable (for better power transmission) Cons: 1.Pre-formatted FAT32 file system (not really a con though,will take about 1 min to convert it to the desired file system) 2.Tad bulky (hard to find a case for this beast) Have been using it for 4 days,everything's fine and great till now. Based on my experience, this baby is fabulous!!!
