Review: fantastic lighter - This stylish lighter is very well made with a lifetime warranty. This substantial lighter is solid and feels heavy in the hand, a joy to hold. Ergonomics couldn't be better, fingers are nowhere near the flame. The lighter does not use an excessive amount of butane as other torch lighters tend to do. The top of the lighter is flipped open to reveal the torch and igniter button. Lights first time everytime. The single torch can be adjusted down to produce a 1.5" candle flame, perfect for lighting cigarettes. The lighter has a catalytic device built into the torch jet to help keep the lighter lit in windy conditions. The flame adjustment wheel is easy to turn with thumb and forefinger, yet stiff enough to avoid accidental turning. This is my favorite lighter at the moment, replacing a sterling silver zippo. Five stars !
Review: The greatest light i have owned - This is my second Xikar EX single jet flame. I still have the first amd it still works fine. A path of the old one fell out i found it and fixed it before this arrived. This lighter was tested and is in perfect condition I have no doubt it will last years. The first lighter has lasted 6 years so far.only needed a tiny bit of locktite to make it nearly new again. The shipping was fast and in perfect condition. I strongly recommend this brand amd this specific model as well as the the seller.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A lighter with a very unique flame
*by W***Y on December 16, 2011*

This lighter produces a flame unlike any I have seen before. To me it appears to be a hybrid, incorporating the best elements of both a traditional soft (lighter fluid) flame and that of a butane torch lighter. It provides a windproof butane flame that is perfect for lighting cigars. Like I said, the flame is a little of each type. About half of it is a bright blue torch lighter flame and it does sound like any other torch lighter, with it's "jet engine" hiss. But the other half of the flame is the soft yellow-orange type. The result is ideal for the proper toasting needed when lighting a cigar. I also love the flame control knob that can be adjusted using my fingers, no screwdriver is needed. Along with Xikar's lifetime warranty, this lighter is a great value. (I wish it had a fuel level window. But after using it awhile, I now have a good feel for when refilling is required. Besides, if it had a fuel level window, I'd have to give it a six star rating).
