3M Littmann Classic II S.E. Stethoscope, Raspberry Tube, 28 inch, 2210

I love this stethoscope. At first I wasn't sure if I should get this nice one for my first semester of nursing school, but now I'm glad I did. It sounds great and is a lovely raspberry pink color. Most of the nursing students who opted for cheaper stethoscopes went back and got a nicer one when they couldn't hear as well as they could out of this one.It's served me well through my first semester of nursing school and continues to do great. Would recommend to a friend!Update!: I've now had this stethoscope for over 2 years. It got me through nursing school and now I'm into 9 months of my career as a nurse! This is a good stethoscope that will last you years! I would recommend getting your name on this thing somewhere, either engraved or an ID tag so people know it's yours if it gets misplaced! Only thing I would change is the color. I love the pearly blue ones I've seen. Still cute though!This is a PERFECT gift for someone getting into the medical field!

This is a great piece of equipment. I have ordered this stethoscope a couple of days ago and have been using it on my patients for the past two days. I owned a cheap stethoscope during nursing school and I can tell that this is a definite upgrade. I can hear all the lung, heart, and bowel sounds really well. The stethoscope is really comfortable to wear; it's not bulky, it does not slide down my shoulder, doesn't pull on the hair on the back of my head, or weigh down on my neck. It's a great color and now that I own it I noticed that a lot of my nurse colleagues have the same one. This was a great purchase.

I'm a nursing student and use this stethoscope every clinical day. I have never had any problems with it, and the color is beautiful. I can clearly auscultate heart, lung, and bowel sounds. I will probably move to a cardiology one once I graduate as a personal preference after trying one of my classmates, but this level works great for students and nurses! It's also very durable. I've had kids hanging off the ears of it with their full body weight (literally, I'm not kidding!), and they never broke or hurt them in any way. They also come with a couple different ear bud sizes so that you can use what works best for you.

Awesome stethoscope. Almost everyone I know has a Littman and there is a reason. It has stood the test of time. The sound is clear and does not have as much artifact as cheaper stethoscopes do. I have had it for around 5 years and it still works, tubing has not cracked (is a little stiff and sort of always in the position it is when I wear it), it is easy to clean and isn't too heavy. Love it! I would buy again, but I think I will save up for maybe a different model in the line, since I'm sure this one will last for years.

Product was orderd using Amazon Prime but was listed out of stock. I ordered the product as a gift for my Daughter in Law who is a Nurse and only wanted this particular product.
