Since I had opened my dual shock 4 (ver. 2) for maintenance (other) purposes multiple times I had accidentally damaged the power switch ribbon as Sony does not provide good quality ribbon in PS4 controllers. I was facing issues with my controller, as it was not getting charged, and also the 3.5 headphone jack was acting up. It was only after I realized that I had damaged the ribbon in it, and I ordered this product. After installing this product which I pretty simple and can be easily done at home with the right tools. (Tip - You'll find a lot of videos on YouTube if you're a DIY person like me) This product has silver-colored connectors as compared to the golden color connectors provided by Sony. However, this seems to work perfectly fine. Now let's see how long this lasts as the quality looks sturdier than the original ribbon. P.s. - Before ordering please count the number of connectors in your ribbon by opening your DS4, in my case, it was 12 pins/connectors, so this worked fine. I have seen some of the older versions of DS4 having 14 connectors, so kindly confirm this before ordering.

Didn’t work for me. I had frayed the end of the original PS4 cable. Thought this would work but it just doesn’t seem to work. I notice this cable has a silver tipped connectors to the original gold ones.

Quality of the cable looked good. Though it didn't serve my purpose as the length was short. I'd ordered it for my laptop TouchPad. I did try to shoulder my old one with this but ended up messing it..

You can replace the wire inside but it will only work if the controller is connected to the PS4 directly with the usb, atleast that's the case for me .

Seriously, I should give 5 stars. I bought the cable from the local market, and it didn't work. My money got wasted since there is no return policy after purchase, even if you return it the next minute. I tried online, and this product is from Mumbai. I'm totally stunned. At first I thought it's silver pin same as what I brought locally and upset my money got wasted. But it really surprised me by working. If you are also selling batteries let me know for the DS4. I strongly recommend for GAMERS

Everything was perfect from packaging to product inside the package, my ds4 controller was not charging after checking the cable i found it was broken so i decided to order this one and after installing this cable my controller is working again this cable saved my controller . I will recommend this to those people who have similar problem like me but please check your cable pins before ordering because there are two types one with 12 pins and other with 14 pins so check your cable.But this one is working fine and it is longer in length too if you have 12 pin cable and having problems with it just go for this one.

#1. It works very nicely. #2. It's a 12 pin Silver connector but it works great. #3. It's pin glue quality is much better then original ps4 joystick pins. For those who was saying it's not working plz check ur pin count then order as it comes in 2 variation 12 pin and 14 pin.
