I'm a forester in Louisiana so I use my boots and need them to work. My last Lacrosse boots lasted almost 7 years. They were warm and held up so I had no reservations about buying another pair. However, this pair has soured me. The soles have separated from the boots and they leak like a sieve. I'm nowhere near impressed, a cheap $45.00 pair could have worked just as well. Lacrosse has lost my business, I guess I will have to check out alternatives... ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic *by J***N on Reviewed in the United States on May 16, 2018* Just received these so will have to report back later on the durability, but so far, very comfortable with good traction. Heavier than cheap rubber boots but still quite lightweight overall. Prefer the fit and overall feel to muckboots. These are less insulated than regular muckboots, and slightly snugger around the ankle and wider at the toes, so they stay put and don't squish my toes. In comparison, muckboots felt too loose around the ankle and too tight around the toes. I have low volume feet that are wide around the toes and with small heels (like a flipper) and need to use a thicker insole with arch support to help eat up the extra volume in my Alphaburly Pros, otherwise the fit is a little sloppy. But size is definitely true to length. A lot of people claim these fit "too big", but that a volume issue, not a length issue. Boots like this always fit much looser than running shoes. Order your shoe size, and use thick insoles and socks to help keep your feet in one place if they're a little loose.Update - After significant use working in the bush, I can definitely say these boots hold up and perform incredibly well on rough terrain. They do get hot though - the neoprene layer makes them comfy but insulates. I'd prefer a pair with a thinner liner, but this might make them fit more sloppy. Ideally they'd have a removeable liner that can be dried out.Still, these are by far the best rubber boots that I've had the pleasure of wearing. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Boots - Fit Larger *by B***2 on Reviewed in the United States on November 1, 2018* I am quite happy with my purchase of these boots. They are much easier to get on and off compared to a much older version of LaCrosse boots I have worn out, I don’t struggle at all. I have only worn these one time out deer hunting in rugged terrain I thought would be muddy and they worked great. I normally wear 10-10.5 in most footwear but these seem to run big and I probably should have returned for a size 9, they don’t come in 1/2 sizes. I have already recommended to friends and bought my wife a different pair of LaCrosee boots since my purchase.5 month Update - I have worn these on a weekly basis since purchasing. They are my go to boots while doing outside work in the winter; shoveling, snow blowing, walking the dogs in the country.
