These sanders are used for fine finishing, they are not intended to be used as a thicknesser or with coarse abrasive for significant stock removal. In all instances, they are intended to be used with planed and thicknessed material. This unit can be bench ed or floor standing using the optional floor stand as shown. The drum is made from an aluminium extrusion and is carefully machined and balanced to reduce vibration to a minimum. A specially designed device holds the paper loading in place under tension and enables the abrasive to be changed quickly and easily. The input 1,200W motor provides adequate power for the sander and a variable speed feed motor gives excellent sanding results in nearly all types of timber. The height adjustment handle works in 0.1mm increments for extremely accurate control over both finish and thickness. A single 100mm dust extraction outlet is provided, efficient dust extraction is vital with these machines, please make sure your system is adequate.
