Out of the 7 items I ordered from Polart, 1 item from Gilt.com, I only love the bar. But, none of these pieces look in person as they do in photos. Most of my items are discolored, dented, generally low quality and cost a fortune to actually get to me. The unmentioned 3rd party shipping company necessary for my items to arrive, cost me more then I paid in product.The color β€œSnow white” has bright yellow stains/smears on the vinyl. The wood is dented in many places and un even paint color. The 2 large chairs I ordered have nylon rope accents under the grommets. It is very cheap looking. And, what is really frustrating, is that the representatives I was working with NEVER mentioned that after I paid Polart for packaging, crates and shipping, there was an additional shipping company I needed to hire to ship within the US. I paid over 5k in shipping to get my items to me before my store opened because my order did not arrive within 6-8 weeks. It took 13 weeks. That WAS expedited shipping. I ended up needing to purchase an entire truck to get my items to me otherwise it was going to take an additional several weeks. Not to mention, another undisclosed fact, when the truck arrived, it was a "no help freight" and I unloaded all of this furniture, in crates, myself.I live in Washington state. These items are manufactured practically down the street. Take my advice; in all of my research, it’s best to order Polart items as you see them become available on Amazon, Gilt.com or Houzz.com. The items are about the same price, but the shipping is less cost AND zero hassle. I ordered 1 Polart coat rack from Gilt.com. That item came on time and was in perfect condition. I would appreciate some kind of reimbursement for the shenanigans I went through.
