I have bought three humidors looking for the right one and finally found it! I wish I had gotten this one first. I think most users only need a 20-25 cigar box. But most of the ones with nice features are huge 25-50 cigar boxes, which, IMO are too big. They are a big boxes, and unless you stack your cigars 5-6 rows deep, they look empty. If you do buy that many cigars, you can only see the top row anyway (and only cycle the top rows), so the bottom rows are just "filler" - OR your box looks empty. So a 20-25 row cigar box is just right IMO. The first box I got had a digital hydrometer that failed after 6 months (the box was too big as well), The second box I got was the right size, and had an analog hydrometer showing the optimal humidity range (like this box does) - so you can see if you are "in the green" at a glance. The problem with that box, at only 6 inches tall, it could only hold short cigars. It was about 5mm too short for My Fathers - ugh. This box hits the sweet spot on all counts - (it is perfect!): 1. It is beautiful, and has a glass top (so you don't have to open it to see how many cigars you have). 2. High quality construction with a nice finish and good seal. 3. Analog hydrometer that is a) visible on the outside of the box (you don't have to open it to take a reading), and b) highlights the "safe" zone in green - so you know you are good at a glance (no having to remember what the right range is). 4. The correct length, width, and depth to hold 1 full box (20) of full size cigars, but not so big it looks empty all the time. As an added bonus, the packaging it arrived in was also super high quality and looked really nice (like an Apple product). It makes for a superior unboxing experience, so I would also highly recommend this as a gift. Well done on all counts!

REVIEW UPDATE!! Bald Eagle reached out immediately regarding my dissatisfaction, a refund was given and a new humidor. We now realize that our first order, we were sent a faulty unit, it was immediately obvious that this new unit had a very tight seal and closed tighter than the first unit that was sent. It is working perfectly, and the hygrometer is working perfect, something that is rare on a humidor. We purchased a digital hygrometer so we could compare the unit's hygrometer with the digital and Wow!! the unit's hygrometer is less than 1% different from the digital, I am really impressed. Our initial order resulted in a faulty unit, which lead to my review, but Bald Eagle fixed everything immediately!!! and now, well we will be buying again, not only is it a BEAUTIFUL unit, but it works great. A bad unit slipped through, but they fixed it so fast.... Thank you!! The craftsmanship is stunning and that was why we were drawn to the product! The hygrometer did not work in this unit, we purchased a digital to be sure. Completely faulty. The seal of this unit was not tight at all, the lid closed but you could see the gap, and therefore leaked, no matter what we tried the humidity never reached above 50%, proper seasoning, the unit's hygrometer, a reputable digital hygrometer, added the Boveda packs to give it a boost, and absolutely nothing. Then to add to our already disappointment, I requested a return with a refund, what's the point in getting a second unit, well guess what a second unit showed up. We are using our cheap humidor and it is working far better than this unit even came close too. Truly a disappointment.

Overall Great Product, followed directions for “seasoning” and trying to establishing correct % but the gauge seems to be way off based off many other measurement devices I’ve tried. Good wood, hinges aren’t cheap but gauge sucks. SUPPORT EMAIL NEVER ANSWERED… Over a month no reply…

This humidor is elegant and worthy of sitting out on display. The quality of the workmanship is flawless and the fit and finish of the wood and polish makes this a statement piece of sophistication and taste.

Updated review: Bald Eagle reached out and offered to replace the humidor I initially purchased with an upgraded version. This new one seems to be of better quality and holds its humidity better. The hygrometer is also positioned on top rather than the front, making it easier to assess humidity levels. Even though the original humidor I bought was faulty, I would consider purchasing more of their products due to their excellent customer service. I was initially happy with this humidor as it kept my cigars in good condition during the first two months. However, I've recently encountered an issue where the humidity levels are no longer stable. Despite using a fresh 84% Boveda pack to reseason it, the humidor's humidity was sitting at only 63%, far below where it should be. To troubleshoot, I tested the seal by covering the sides with painter's tape to simulate a better seal, and almost immediately the humidity started to rise. This suggests that the humidor isn't maintaining an airtight seal, which is crucial for keeping cigars properly humidified. Unfortunately, after this issue surfaced, I can’t rely on this humidor for long-term storage, as it doesn’t seem to retain moisture effectively anymore. It's a shame because it worked well initially, but now I have to consider looking for a more reliable option.

I purchased the 25-50 count humidor about 9 months ago. When I purchased it I did the seasoning process and added my cigars and monitored the humidity levels consistently. It worked perfectly for about 6-7 months and held humidity levels no problem. The last few months it will not reach any humidity level higher than 58% and drops to as low as 55% daily. I’m not sure if the electronics are not working or the box just isn’t sealing properly for some reason Update: The humidor still has the same issues but customer service did reach out and tried to help me fix the issue and determine if it was the box not sealing or the electronics not working right. Turns out the box wasn’t sealing. Even though it was past warranty they still shipped me a brand new one that is working amazing!

Just recently got into cigars and figured the next step should be a humidor if I was going to be serious about my newfound pastime. Even though EVERYONE I talked to said NOT to buy a humidor on Amazon, I spurned that advice and did it regardless. Once it arrived, I followed the instructions for seasoning and even calibrated the hygrometer. I bought a second digital hygrometer as well, to have another reference point. After the first seasoning attempt failed, I repeated the process. When that didn’t work I bought the Boveda seasoning kit and attempted to season it again. Didn’t work and only and held steady at about 55% humidity. Bottom line, this thing is a sleek looking wooden box resembling a humidor that DOES NOT HOLD HUMIDITY; I paid for what I got. Went to a local tobacconist and spent about 200 bucks on a Savoy, and have not been disappointed. I would not recommend this product.

For the price this humidor is perfect! Easy to use and set up, and the dial makes knowing when to refill the water so easy. Good quality wood, too!

It is a nice box. I know nothing of humidors for this currently wont be used for cigars. but as i understand it is the interior needs time to to absorb enough moisture so that the humidor can maintain a steady relative humidity. I can already tell the gauge was not accurate for it was stuck as i gave it different locations to get a reading and it didn't budge you may need a digital one to find the correct reading then take out the dial on the humidor where you find the center dial screw to recalibrate.

Looks great, however after three weeks seasoning with a full humidifier and dish of distilled water, humidity would not rise above 73%. Hoping that would be close enough to the right range, loaded the humidor and predictably saw a crash from 73% to 67%. Not too alarming, and tossed in a couple of 69% Boveda packs just to shore things up, closed it up tight and hoped for the best. 12 hours later and the meter is now reading 61% and still falling. Hoping that stabilizes, and will update if so Edit again - Wow. Bald Eagle reached out as soon as they saw the issue I was having and that they had missed my first email, walked me through bug testing to find the problem, isolated it to probably a faulty hydrometer (makes perfect sense as the meter has consistently read 56-59% ever since - so about 10% lower than the Boveda packs in there would suggest), and promised to get a calibrated meter to me right away. Shortly after, a larger-than-expected package arrived, containing a whole new humidor, with a new meter on the way as well. Once I connected with their customer care person, dealing with Bald Eagle has been an absolute joy - prompt, helpful, endlessly accommodating, responsive, and clearly they take the customer service side of the business and getting it right very seriously. Great company with amazing service, particularly as what we're talking about is a $50 wood box. Will be back for my next humidor (sadly I didn't listen to the adage "Nobody ever wished they bought a smaller humidor") without a single hesitation.

I am new to the cigar world and this is my first humi. It really is a lovely piece. Well made, beautiful gloss black finish, good seal. It looks spectacular on my desk in my office. I really like the fact that you can view the RH inside without opening the lid. And of course all your sticks, just waiting to be smoked. I did NOT wipe down the inside with a damp cloth as part of the seasoning process, as recommended in the instructions. I have read elsewhere that this can cause warping and joint problems. I was able to get it up to 70% RH in 24hrs with the included humi stick and a damp sponge (sitting on a plastic bag) for help. I seasoned it for 3 days before putting a dozen stoges in it. Holding nicely at 72%.
