SmartGames Ghost Hunters Logic Puzzle Game with 60 Glowing Challenges for Ages 6+

Update- A little over a year later, and we STILL love this game! Our 5 1/2 year old can do all of the puzzle cards by himself if he tries, but it's still fun to do them as a 'ghost hunter team', we just take turns each placing a tile where we think it should go. The first few puzzle cards have some hints to help younger players know where to place tiles, then the hints lessen as you get higher up in the card numbers, and the last few have none making those cards the trickiest. And no matter how many times you play you never remember the correct tile combination on any particular card, so it's always like playing a new game. It really is an awesome alternative to screen time. And just a tip- the puzzle cards do all fit in the hardcase for storage while the tiles sit neatly on top, and there is a clear plastic 'lid' that goes over the top of the whole thing- however, the clear top doesn't click on to the hardcase so we just put a thick rubber band over the whole thing, and it keeps it all together and makes it perfect for tossing in a travel bag or keeping in the backseat for the kiddos. Still highly recommend this game, and any others by this brand! We've had this for one day, and it's already a favorite! Our 4yr old did the first 12 puzzles on his own, and then we did the next 8 or so together. There are over 50 puzzles, and they're all fun & engaging. Kids can work on them on their own, or you can do them as a family. All the puzzle cards fit inside their own little hardcase (which is perfect for travel), and the tiles sit on top. It's such a simple game, yet so strategic & fun! I highly recommend it to anyone with game or puzzle loving kids- or even for adults!

This game is so fun and it was quick and easy for my kids (8 and 10) to learn how to play. There are multiple “levels” that get progressively harder so kids can build their confidence and understanding of the game on the earlier, easier levels before being challenged by the harder ones. I’ll admit, as an adult who loves these kind of critical thinking games, the most advanced levels are still very hard or impossible for me to solve haha it’s also great for travel because everything fits into the board perfectly and there are no loose parts. I got this during the Prime Days sale so was even happier because it was several dollars less than it usually is.

This game is so fun for my five year old and even challenging for me at times. It’s a great activity for us to do together.

Really fun and good quality as all Smart Games are, but I did find this particular one a bit less challenging and more focused on the lower age range of the suggested ages. but overall really good and simple to learn

I love Halloween, so this seemed a natural purchase to make for the holiday season. I love the many different levels available for the players. My 6 year old, almost 8 year old, and the two adults in our family are all able to play at our own skill level with the amount of supports we need to be successful. It is soo much fun, and super cute drawings of little ghosts squinting their eyes when the flashlight shines on them. I like all the different scenes. Quite frankly, I could entertain myself for a long time just admiring the different scenes in the artwork. The game is really awesome. I like how the pieces are dark, except for the spot where the flashlight shines on the ghost. Clever, clever, clever. I also like how the supports sort of change as the difficulty level increases. This is a fun game for each member of our family. The children benefit from some "suggestions" on where to put pieces from time to time, but it really does meet a variety of developmental levels. A great, easy to store game for Halloween or any time! Originally I purchased this for an October camping trip because I knew it would be fun, (having a similar game with polar bears and whales) and wouldn't take much space while also being festive to the Halloween season. As it turned out we didn't take our anticipated trip, but it was a fun game none the less! I highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys Halloween!

Nice game got 5 year old

This has been my two kids (6 and 7) favorite Smart Games out of the several I've bought. It was incredibly easy for the 6 year old to pick up and start playing right away as the early levels guided my 6 year old into the simple game mechanics. The only thing I had to instruct her on was that she had to point the flashlight towards the ghosts, but after that, placing the pieces onto the beautiful illustrated puzzle cards was a breeze for her. The kids would fight over who's turn it is to get this game first. My only regret is that there isn't an expansion set to add more cards for the kids to continue playing. The art is beautiful. The ghosts are cute and not scary. And all the pieces and cards pack neatly back into it's case and is easy to take to travel on cars and planes to keep the kids away from screens and their time occupied.

This game is a wonderful addition to my education program. My kindergarten students are even capable of completing these challenges with a little prompting and it is challenging for adult minds at certain levels. Overall an absolute plus! Hoping to get a few more at least one per class. ❤️

it is very entertaining but a little too easy for a child. Mine finished all levels in few hours. I don't like to buy a toy for just hours and then it's done. I would recommend other Smart Games to last longer.

This has kept my kids, 4 and 6 busy while travelling and they love it. I just wish there was a way to clip the pieces down. There is just a flimsy piece of plastic to keep the small pieces in place so I've used a zip lock bag to keep everything together but it would've been great if it had a top that could clip shut. That aside, it's been a great purchase.

I’m really happy with this purchase! It’s fun and challenging for ALL ages. It’s a great quality puzzle and the puzzle itself is a case which holds the pieces. It’s easily transportable, interchangeable and time consuming. It really makes you think and problem solve. This would be perfect for road trips or rainy days! And the puzzle images are just so cute!
