The back teeth pivot so putting one on actually requires "stop, steady, think" action. To explain. As most people who wear clips knows you put these on at last minute perhaps as you are leaving the house. So with a back that pivots it forces the wearer to stop and pay attention. Not really a big negative but I usually am in motion when putting on my clip. So far they appear to hold up well.
