**Q: Does the PX100 only generate 12v dc?  (My wire length requires 14v dc.)**
A: The output of the PX100 is ***AC***, not DC - this is an isolation transformer, not a (DC) power supply.  As noted, there are multiple output taps that allow you to select 12-14VAC output.

**Q: Do i need the switch with this to control the light or is there one built into the intermatic?**
A: You need the switch

**Q: Will this work with a 300-watt pool bulb**
A: It is only rated for 100 watts so you cannot run 300 watts with it.

**Q: can I use a regular switch to to turn transformer on,for pool light**
A: You may use a residential type wall switch connected to interrupt the primary of the transformer. Wiring methods must conform to the National Electric Code. The load through the switch is less than 1 ampere at the maximum rating of the transformer, but the switch must be rated for no less than the line voltage (120 volts).
