Victorious: Season 2

I love it. It's perfect like I love the designs and everything and the special features, thank you very much I love this series!

The show was fast paced and well written.The focus was on the multiple facets of being a teenager within a high school context.I believe each character represented a different facet of what it is to be a teenager.It was a pleasure to watch a show where the context was not centered on the intimacies of human sexuality.The character development focused on the frailty of youth with dialogue that was free from salacious sexual innuendo and cheap double entendres. Well done MR. DAN SCHNEIDER... Finally,without singling out any one special performer (ELIZABETH GILLIES) these youthful actors Ariana Grande...Leon Thomas III...Matt Bennett...Avan Jogia....Daniella Monet...Michael Eric Reid and of course Victorius Justice are going to be heard from again and again.

Awesome show!! For those of you who haven't watched this show yet I think you should. This show is about a girl named Tori Vega (Victora Justice) who becomes a star at Hollywood Arts. It all starts when Tori's sister was going to sing at the big show case. But her sister had a big throbbing tongue so Tori knew the song and sang it amazingly.

The program portrays life at a special high-school in Hollywood, for teens who have exceptional performing talent. The mystery here is how a TV director turned a bunch of infectiously-likeable teen actors into one of the best ensemble casts available anywhere on TV. Do not mistake this program by judging it by "iCarly" or "How to Rock", or similar teen TV shows. They are OK. "Victorious" is excellent. Better cast, more chuckles, universally likeable music. This second-season episode compilation is as good as season-one was. No further seasons are currently available on DVD, but two more seasons were filmed. Likely these will appear on disc sometime in the next two years. Then, all that will be left to us is to ponder why some brain-dead executive at Nickolodeon has canceled the series. The kids were willing to make more shows. This TV series is indeed a special treat, even for older folk who have left teen years behind.

Cute show and I like the music

This is a pretty good season wish there was more episodes in this season but all in all not to bad. Great music cast was pretty awesome and the dances where spot on. if your a fan of the show i would say buy this. price is not bad this is a 2 disk set so you all know who might want to buy this.

Season Two (episodes 22-34) reinforced my theory that Daniel J. Schneider used "Empire Records" (1995) as a character template for "Victorious"; with Corey becoming Tori, Debra becoming Jade, Gina becoming Cat, Berko becoming Beck, Mark becoming Robbie, and A.J. becoming Andre. Empire had a great mix of characters and they transplant well into this absurdist version of "Fame". It is an intelligent and well-written show that actually gets better with repeat viewings. Generally speaking "Victorious" is best at its most absurd and self-reflexive, and Season Two moved them aggressively in that direction. Trina's (Daniella Monet) re-audition number in "Helen Back Again" was arguably the series' all-time funniest moment; and the whole re-audition sequence (Jade's short film, Tori & Andrew's beautiful reprise of "Make It Shine", Robbie's heckled comic, and Cat's hyperactive 90 seconds), was an inspired comedy montage. But you will have to get Season Three to see "April Fools Blank" - the most "out-there" episode of the series with Cat (Ariana Grande) doing an inspired Judy Garland. Jade's moments with Cat and anything extreme by Trina are the high points of each episode. Victoria Justice handles the acting challenge far better than I expected. And she is quite effective as straight man for the self-reflexive comments about her cheekbones and speech patterns. What separates the series from other Disney / Nickelodeon products (other than it actually getting better with each successive season) is a refreshingly cynical (Daria-like) subtext, keeping the viewer off balance with resolutions and values that are not entirely goody-goody. Then again, what do I know? I'm only a child.

My daughter adores this show. She is 10yrs old and has been a fan yrs before this. My 3yr old gates this show. As an adult it is ok. I watch it because my daughter loves it.

前にEテレで見て好きだったので、どうしてもまた見たくなり購入。Season 3と4が入手できないのが残念ですが、再びハリウッドアーツが見れて満足です。 リージョンフリーな機器は必要だと思いますので、その点はご注意下さい。

Once again, my daughter loved the product. I always look for a deal, and if it's not, I don't buy. This was a good deal & my daughter is happy!
