Blue devil it the real Mc Coy
My 2001 odyssey had a rack-and-pinion leak. A lot of fluid needed to be added about evey tank of gas. M y car is running well, and starts every time. . I bought the blue devel transmission sealer. The next time it needed fluid, I let it go down to about 1/2 of the reservoir.Put almost all of the blue devil in the jar. I didn't expect it to stop the leak. I drove it about 200 miles and noticed the steering returned to like new. Well, I thought it might have stopped the leak. I drove the car more until I had a chance to check the fluid level. The reservoir level was up to normal. The leak has stopped, and my steering is acting like it has a new rack. Blue devel stopped my steering leak. y l,eaks Up date 12/17 Monday I checked the p.s fl;uid jar and its still up to the top. Its not leaking fluid .

Actually works
Transmission started leaking about 2 weeks ago. Wife called me and said there is oil on the garage floor after Ieft. Cleaned it up. The next morning there was oil on the floor again. After investigating I realized it was transmission fluid. Went to Amazon to see if there was anything available to stop the leak. There was several options, seemed like the Blue Devil had the best reviews so I ordered. Took a few days to get it. By the time I got it car was leaking a lot. My car holds 12 quarts of fluid so per recommendation I put 12 oz of Blue Devil in. I then topped of the transmission with 5 quarts of Transmission fluid. So in 2 weeks I had lost about 6 quarts of fluid, so quite the leak. Had my doubts but after driving several hundred miles it looks like the leak has completely stopped. Now if it holds up I will be amazed.

Amazing additive.
This additive is amazing. Just two ounces in my marine engine stopped the transmission leak in thirty minutes run time.

CAUSED $4000 transmission issue
Well shortly after adding this product my transmission started acting up. Mostly the reverse would shake the entire vehicle and not get into gear. Just got a call from the shop and his first question - did you use an additive? I say yes and he says that the additive swelled all the rubber in the transmission to more than double their original size, causing the issues. Total $4000 to fix what this $13 bottle of pure junk did. Reaching out to the company to ask if they have any guarantees....not expecting much. Do NOT use this product, you've been warned...

This product works if the seals is your problem
BlueDevil is an angel, my toyota tacoma prerunner 99 had issues going into reverse in the mornings, took around 5 seconds, sometimes more to engage into reverse... After reading the reviews I decided to use a little less than is suggested to start off because there is no reversing what you did if you put too much in, you will over swell the rubber seals, which won't be good. It is also very important to know exactly how much quart of oil you put in your transmission first also, so what I did was an oil change first then counted the quarts I added... Then follow the instructions per ounce per quarter... They say you had to drive it for around two to three days ...my truck when into reverse the next morning in milliseconds time when I tried... I do recommend this product and so happy I found it... and I hope this help you to make up your mind.

bottle leaked
Not sure if it will work on sealing transmission but be careful it leaked out in the box. Thankfully it was a slow leak.

THIS STUFF WORKS~!!!
I used exactly 2 ounces and put it in my leaking Ford F-150 5 Speed Mazda transmission. It was leaking out of the 3 plugs on top of the transmission. I didn't want to take out the seat, pull back the carpet, remove the tunnel, then remove the top of the transmission to put in new plugs this close to deer season, so I decided to give BlueDevil a try. After a couple days THE LEAK STOPPED!!! No more drips!! The transmission sounds the same, shifts the same and works the same, other that it stopping the leak that is. I recommend BlueDevil Products 00236 Transmission Sealer.

The sealer stop the leak for a short while but like it says on the bottle it cannot fix a Mechanical fault. It turned out the bolts on the gearbox had gone loose because the rubber gasket had shrunk with age. Had the gasket replace along with a new filter and all ok now. The jeep is 23 years old though.
